You see the things I have highlighted, sir? This is an example of your intolerance & you clear motivation of an agenda. Why do you need to make sure there is a "conservative voice" on this site? Why are you so quick to label & marginalize other people on this site? Explain to everyone please exactly how I am "The Minister of Misinformation"? And after you have, prepare to receive a big and much needed reality check on your part.

The recent racist/insulting language is disgusting! Stop it! I'm asking Webbie to monitor it because there is no place for it, in a discussion or debate. Please report offensive posts. Thank you!

You may be right Archie....Ironically Trayvon himself texted on his cell that he can't fight...

People making a issue out of the video are just silly or out of touch. With that goes down in high school, puberty, envy, cliques, parting, drugs, sex, lack of privacy, teen rebellion ect. When you account for all the extra vigor that young people have, are we really surprised than teenagers fight in high school?? How the hell are you going to reason with some of the teens going through so many changes in life coupled with their imperfect homes? Hey man lets talk about it?? GTFOOH. If you don't knock some of these dudes the fuck out then you will have every testosterone driven teen kicking your ass every day. That is certainly how I remember high school anyway. Its almost like what they say about jail. If you are a punk, you will have a hard way to go.

On an interview with Hannity, Zimmerman claimed that he never heard of the Stand Your Ground law, but this morning, we've came to know that he lied (again) because he actually received law enforcement training and was considered a good student as well. On top of that, he went through lectures on the Castle Laws aka Stand Your Ground law and other procedure, like Fear Apprehension.

I may come off as a sick bastard on the forums, but I'm not ignorant of the current events here.

That's enough of this shit, Flaming. There is no reason for the personal insults or the racial bullshit. As I've told you in the past, none of that shit is never necessary to make your point.

I appreciate that you are passionate about the case, BUT I don't appreciate the personal attacks you're making on the other members. You've already been in trouble for that behavior enough times to know that shit won't be tolerated, so please stop it now.

I'd appreciate it if you'd stop making assumptions about me, son. Thank you.

    Agreed. :smt023

Honestly, you and Flaming have been throwing out the bulk of the personal insults in this thread. Lashing out at people who don't see things the way you do does NOTHING to validate any legitimate point one might have on a topic. The hostility and the personal attacks need to stop. Being passionate about something is one thing, but it becomes something else altogether when people resort to attacking one another over differing opinions.

TBH, Zimmerman's "innocence" does come across as something you are taking very personally, and I'm also curious as to why that is. The level of anger in what comes across as your defense of Zimmerman killing Trayvon is what makes some of us wonder why it is so personal to you. Whatever the case, simply explaining your view without the name-calling and hostility would be greatly appreciated.

As someone who's raised a son and grew up with four younger brothers, I can say that this is pretty accurate. Testosterone is a powerful thing, especially in combination with all the craziness of being a teenager.

There are also many boys who just like to fight and engage in rough play. It makes no sense to me, but my son and his goofy friends have always loved playing that stupid trading hits game where they take turn punching each other as hard as they can in the arm. The dummies don't even seem to mind the pain or the bruising, and they always seem to have a goofy grin on their faces when they're showing off their bruised arms...especially if they were the "winner" in the game. lol

My son has had to fight to defend himself against bullies and racists over the years, and IMO he would've been a fool just to stand there and take their abuse. My son is by no means a thug, and IMO neither was Trayvon.

IMO, the only thug in this case is Zimmerman. His history and the way he handled himself the night Trayvon was killed has thug written all over it.

I know I'm not one of your favorite people, but I also know that we had gotten to a point where we were able to show a basic respect for one another. I'm asking you nicely to stop the personal attacks. There is nothing acceptable about that disrespectful behavior and enough is enough.

You shouldn't even have to ask for respect, Tam. It should be a given for everyone on the forum, but particularly because you're a moderator.

    Didn't I say that bull won't fly?

some people just can't comprehend english, I guess.
I do wonder if there is anything like a neutral site though. Everything and everyone is so divided.

How can you measure me "personally" taking a stake in Zimmermans innocence through a forum? If you'd read through my posts, you'd see that I don't give a damn if Z is innocent or guilty. In FACT, I've said I believe Zimmerman is guilty of manslaughter, and the States Attorney shouldve went after that instead of Murder 2. 10 year prison sentence for Z....minimum.

What I do get mad at are the race hustlers in the black community, Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, Ben Crump (Martins family attorney) who prey on the uneducated negro to line their pockets. This case NEVER had anything to do with race. Z didn't profile Martin, Z didn't go out and purposely make sure that one less black kid was in the world. It was a case of two frightened people who overreacted and something tragic happened. Yet these "black leaders" would make you believe that this happens everyday. And Tiwana Brawley and the Duke Lacrosse team is swept under the rug.

What should be about race is the Sanford Police department, who didn't dutifully follow responsiblities. Instead, the media, and almost everyone on this board was duped by the media into railroading Zimmerman, and painting him as some homicidal racist.

I wish people would freaking THINK about things, and understand that what is presented is not always how things are...

    Really?

    I mean, REALLY? Really, Really?

    Come on now.

We ALL have tendency to be violent. Every single one of us.
But in this case...Does Trayvon's previous hx with violence really matter?
He's dead. George Zimmerman shot him. Why?
Because he had the nerve to fight back to save his life.

    Oh, for the shame.

I suppose you would tell me that in that same situation, you wouldn't fight back?

If you would then it makes you quite the hypocrite to say that because Trayvon did what is normal human behavior that George Zimmerman is not guilty of killing him.

He killed him. He went and killed him based on paranoia or whatever was in his jacked head.

He may have a right to carry a concealed gun. He doesn't have a right to kill someone without cause.

And Trayvon had the right to fight back.

Stand your ground my ass. Trayvon used it correctly. He stood his ground against Zimmerman.

TBH, it's not really about him respecting me. My point was that if he can get to that point with me after the times we butted heads over differences, he can do the same where others are concerned. He doesn't seem to get (or maybe he doesn't care) that his behavior isn't doing him any favors.
