If rape culture wasn't in full swing and women looked at as nothing more than something to be banged then Anonymous wouldn't have had to call out the staff and football players and everyone else who has kept these nasty fucks from having to be held accountable for what they did to this girl.

He obviously didn't even read what I wrote, see my last sentence and what he then wrote. But that has pretty much been the case all through this topic. He has been insensitive and borderline offencive several times in this thread and I am not sure how he didn't get his head bit off long ago in this thread. He doesn't get how much leaway he actually gets because he is generally liked.

ONE percent of rapes are committed by women. If your have read the damned piece I suggested, you'd have seen that there is a difference between that happening once to you, and having it happen every day, by bigger humans who commit 99% of rapes. It's intimidating when it's a constant drumbeat in your life than when it happens rarely if ever. Look, when someone comes onto a guy and it's another guy, a lot of men get squicked out, or even angry. Hell. Some of them kill. You aren't physically intimidated with a woman pushing hard for sex. Your life isn't in danger. But as a gender, you are prone to violence. So there is a fear aspect for us, and we know if something 'bad' happens, society will see us as 'broken' or blame us for our own rape and/or beating and/or death. Rape is only the sexualized aspect of the violence problem in this country and around the world. So in the back of her head every woman is always aware of this. And when guys cat call, or pinch our ass, or sit in judgement on our bodies...it creates a culture where violence sexual aggressiveness is normalized. How is it possibly ok to scream 'hey bitch, suck me' out the car window at some woman you don't know? it happens ALL the damned time, to all of us. Really. You don't see it because it doesn't often happen when you're with us, but it happens often. And it creates an atmosphere where that sort of thing is at one end of the spectrum, and rape is the other. Every rape joke that gets told is a reminder to us. Everytime we get cat called, pinched, followed by some asshole making sucking noises loudly so everyone in the area hears it and turns to look - its a reminder of our vulnerability.

Only women 22 and under like bad boys? Are you high? Talk about making it up as you go along. And the broken thing is something I see women hold onto npt something men putting on them but hey only your view counts I guess.. Also who the fuck cat calls a 13 year old? You have any idea how absurd that sou ds to me? Im not going to say it never happens but grown ass men dont generally do that low lives do. Unemployed losers who sit around on cprners not peopl with families and who work. It sounds mpre like teenagers doing that as well.
Trix when you say men things like not every man is a rapist but every man could be a rapist it makes me think if I had the same views of white people I woupd never leave the house. Judging us by are worst examples does far more harm than good. We moght as well live in separate communitis and only interact for copulation

Or make jokes, or say the bitch was too ugly to rape, like rape is a compliment. Or that you'd do her if you had the chance.

Nobody is defending anything and that is the problem i have with you and Pixie. You refuse to realise that i am saying most Americans do NOT condone rape or sexual harassment and therefore it CANNOT be a culture. Nobody is saying women are not under the threat of rape but it is not pervasive and i think its insulting to say America has the rape culture to the majority of decent people who abhor rapists. It was Pixie who was throwing up statistics about men being rapists and said although she wasnt saying all men were rapist but from where you ladies stand men are potential rapists since results show most raped are done by men. Its like a person saying "i'm not saying black men are criminals but from where i stand black men are potential criminals because most of the crimes are commited by black men". Most of her posts were focused on men and i didnt see you throw up statistics to show that women also rape. So yes in this case it became a men vs women as in most cases in this forum because people take entrenched positions. Any man who abhors rapists would take offence that there is the rape culture in America because it casts a bad light on the men in America.

How long have you been a woman? You are being deliberately obtuse.

Man, I forgot you were the resident expert in the reality of women's lives. We, of course, as women, don't know nearly as much as you do what it's like to be a woman.

Me, I like men who get it, treat me as an equal, and an equal partner. Men who have bothered to stop, disengage from their opinions, and do the damned research before they knee jerk themselves into a chest-high pile of emotion without researching the stats.

Theres every reason to go there. You guys are living in a dream world if you think your average guy can gey away with a rape charge. As if there is this wink wink society of men who look the other way when it happens.
    1. You pressume most men are ok with rape
    2. You pressume most mem would help a rapist get away with rape
    3. You create this line in the sand where men are inherently one side and women are on the other.

If you guys believe every man is capable of raping you why even interact with men at all. Outside of work why even bother.

I posted rape stats last week, which showed % of rapes were committed by women. You don't even bother to read when I spoon fear you the statistics. Wow. Too busy playing.

Wow, just wow... Talk about not getting it at all. Your not even close to what I have said, quite offensive be that you have gotten by wringing my words. You do better if you actually READ before you respond. Geezuz, you read that? Then, there is no help for you.just simply bizzare. His the fuck do you get there.

I do NOT stand for any of that shit you made up, and it has nothing to do with me. Leave my name out of such h foolery. Besides, I haveCLEARLy made a point, SEVERAL times in this thread that this is NOT a man vs women thing, women are part of this. But of course you ignored that because that doesn't fit your agenda. You, my friend, is the biggest pusher and defender of the 'men vs women' tendencies on here. You can not help yourself, you have to make remarks I. Each and every women issue that comes up, and it is always minimilizing and you always seem to know more about women that women themselves.

Look TDK, I like,e you and you damn well know that, but that doesn't mean I have to like everything you say, and in this case, you are just plain wrong and you start looking really ignorant in the topic. You seem to think you have the answer when you. Would research this topic and spare yourself looking uninformed and disconnected. Be objective and remove your emotions from it.

    Rape Stats

3% of rapists do time. Wanna say that about any other serious crime?

I love men, and you need to stop taking as a personal affront everything which is said about rape. Dude, if 1 of every six men were missing a testicle, and 70% of them had that chopped off by a friend or lover, wouldn't it make you just a wee but uneasy?

Yeah because you as individual can speak for evwryone got it lol. I dont need to do the research youve put up there and 6% suddenly represents what most might do. How about Im a man not a child but a grown ass hard working man who is around other grown ass hard working men and not one single person Ive ever been around outsode of my teenage and early 20s years cat calls a woman. Its whay immature people do when they are scaredto death of rejection and it never works. I have never in my life been around anyone who doesnt immediately side with a woman who claims she was raped. They ate right until PROVEN otherwise. Now I knpw my experience doesnt encompass all but you have to hear it from my end. This isnt like racism in this coumtry where some wil be open aboutit so you can point to it amd say there it is. I have yet to witness anyone oking rape outside of sports culture.

well actually sexism and racism is the same under civil laws. just like you cant hide your race they generally cant hide their sex.

YOU made a comment last week about how some girls should know better than to go to a frat party!

Did you add schoolteachers who sleep with underage boys? And how do you know if the 1% is in fact correct? Are you aware most teenage boys wont report to the cops that they have been raped by a female teacher? It is because most people dont see female teachers fucking underage boys as rape that a lot of them get away with it. Are we to say that there is a rape culture in the female teacher environment? Some of your comments have been insulting to men but everybody is jumping on someone and claiming insensitivity.
