    This for me was the best part.

    That she recognized that trait in him.

    There are folks who drink and become just wholly reprehensible to be around.

    I despise men that get drunk and start hitting on their wife, kids, etc.

    Makes my blood boil. Alcohol can bring out the worst qualities in some folks.

    Doesn't sound like he was doing any of that but no point in waiting for it to reach such a stage in the relationship.

    Not all of us. (I'm not like that.)

    I think divorces/cheating undermine the purpose/value of relationships. Makes it seem like there's no point to pursue anyone of any race, IMO.

    I wish America's divorce rate (actually the divorce rate of the Western World) would be much lower than it is today.

    Divorce, death, and sickness has absolutely nothing to do with YOU being a single parent. Some people believe single parents "bastard" children are proof of their horrible decision making skills. If you dont get my point then your helpless. :::shrug:::

    Son, I already acknowledged the fact that you were trying to bait me with an intended insult, what more do you want? Did you expect me to get offended and upset over something I didn't take personally? If so, you wasted your time.

    Just because my relationship with my son's dad didn't work out doesn't make my son a mistake. Like I said, shit happens; sometimes things work out, sometimes they don't. IMO, it makes no sense to stay with or marry someone just based on having a child with him...a baby is NOT a basis for a relationship. I have no regrets about ending the relationship, nor do I have any regrets about bringing my son into this world. My son is the greatest blessing God has brought into my life other than His own Son.

    Yep, his point was loud and clear. My general view on the cheating issue always has been and always will be the same regardless of who it is. There was no attack intended toward him or anyone else, so if he took it personally, it's his issue, not mine.
