My plan is to move to the West somewhere. Driving to Minneapolis last week, through western WI and into MN was like coming home to me. I belong where there are evergreen trees and green rolling hills. And the stuffy nose I have constantly in IL (which I'm now blaming pollution for) was non-existent when I left the state and went West. Though I have to wait 3 years, as my little one doesn't want to leave her elementary school.
It would seem that the 4th of July, large amounts of what I can only assume are illegal substances, loud ear splitting music and teenagers don't mix well together. I can only hope the cops arrive soon. I have to go to work in...in the morning and sleep would be nice so I don't touch the power supply of an iMac while grounded to a power strip with a screw driver stuck in one of the outlets.
I've only ever lived in Denver, in terms of the West. I'm not partial to any particular area anymore. I would move to the western part of WI. LOL. So, no, I haven't put a ton of thought into it, as I can't move yet anyway. But I will be moving out West at some point. Maybe South Dakota. I love it in South Dakota.
I have family out west so have made quite a few trips where I have stayed in cities/places out this way. Have you every visited Montana (cities not rural) or Washington? I am fond of those areas. You should start by taking a road trips each summer and going to cities you are interested in. Staying a few days. Meeting locals and getting a feel for the people. It's a good way to know if they will fit your personality.

And any practictioner worth their weight will not indescriminately go around cursing and hexing just because you piss them off. Bad karma that and the point of magick practice is to grow as a person.
