Organic matter, like a dead rodent, would've dissolved in spring water too as most liquids are not preservatives--e.g. formaldehyde water. The attorney representing Pepsi made a (somewhat) salient point that media channels put a sensationalistic spin on. Shocking.

So true but back on that regiment. Three shakes a day and nothing but vegetables and chicken with the occasional pork chop but no red meat. And absolutely no sodas that shit is poison. So much more cautious about what goes in my body and on my triathlon work out tip. Even started a team this week. Team Honey Badgers. Its a movement lol.

Awesome TDK! Are you doing a triathlon this summer? What length (e.g. sprint, olympic....)? I have done one, it was a sprint tri, but soooo much fun!!! I'd learned that I am a great swimmer and decent cyclist but really need to work on my running. I made the mistake of training in the swimming and cycling elements a ton because I love them and barely did any running lol. Rookie error. Next one I do will be in 2 years (once I have finished this degree) and I'm thinking maybe an olympic distance then. And I'll actually have been running a lot ahahaha. Silly me. :)

A sprint one. .9 mile swim, 10k bike, 5k run. Right now I'm trying to do double the amount three days a week and weight train two to three days a week. Along with karate twice a week. Which has totally killed my p90 time but I just feel like I need to do this stuff. What are you getting your degree in?

    Wow, awesome job TDK.

Regarding the degree thing, I'll have to keep that one a secret ;)

I really didn't read this until Beautiful commented on it and I have to say the fact that Europeans control the portion sizes they serve and walk more and have less obese people in fact makes them a more health and fitness oriented nation. Their lack of obese people and overall good health is a testament to that.

in the states, so many put such high values on individual transportation like cars and stuff, and frown upon buses. catching the bus everyday, I have to do a good amount of walking to and from bus stops..id say 2 miles round trip. Someone with a car walks 2 feet from the crib, fires that badboy up, and drives right to wherever they go, without having to walk from a predesignated bus stop or some shit. If more people would ride the bus, take the steps instead of elevators, they'd burn more. Wouldn't be a whole lot as compared to an athlete, but it would still be a start.

What cracks me up are the mofos that catch the elevator for ONE floor.

    c'mon now

    That cracks me up too.
When I have a really heavy backpack, I use the elevator... otherwise I use the stairs (and I live on the 8th floor :p). When I do use the elevator, I see so many people only going to the 2nd or 3rd floors... wtf.
