You're right, even if you look at Hollywood, for example, very few of the Girls (any Race) date Black Men. I've heard stories that their PR people tell them to steer clear of Black Men becuase it would be bad for Their Career.

 

True, but your premise is more prevalent in Europe than in America.

 

People should realize that there's a reason why so much Black Guys enjoy their experiences in Europe with White Girls. We have a lot of Interracial Dating in America but the motives of European and American Girls are different when it comes to Dating.

Cultural norms are evident though. I'd imagine women in the land of greed is good no matter who it hurts might be a bit different from those who grow up in a more socially conscious country not as obsessed with celebrity and looking good. You may think differently but you can't deny the cultural norm.

 

Again, DK, I think your experience of women is slanted because you date such young girls, who are still caught up the the "celebrity culture" stuff. Grown up women tend to be far less interested in that sort of crap. Once you hit the age where you're willing to date women who are closer to the age you are now, you may see a difference.

 

First, can you tell me what you mean by dating, hooking up or being in a serious relationship? I'd also be interested to know if you formed your opinion based on dating women in both the U.S and Europe, and how the motives differed for those women that you dated in the U.S and in Europe?

 

Women closer to my age are the worst ones since they are generally husband shopping more so than looking for a husband. I've often said magic dies with age. Im not saying every single instance and in every relationship that my assertions are true but in enough to see that many people will over look a possible mate based on ridiculous bs. The US as a whole is very immature its seen in our entertainment our politics and in the way we do business. So its not a far reach to say that women of a more socially conscious more educated more healthy culture would be more open and a better match for men who date outside their supposed race.
A great example of that for me was when I posted that thread about, Dating In The Dark". The women from the UK seemed genuinely excited about dating bm in comparison to the US version where it was not even an option despite having far more in common with the bm.
It always cracks me up when people claim that people generally prefer people of their own "race" which seems to happen far more here in the great melting pot more so than in countries with far less black people.
Too many are in staunch denial of the impact that racism has had on this country's cultural norm and that spills over into dating choices. You personally may not be that way but you use the same blanketed statements when you assert women of a certain age aren't a certain way or aren't hung up on race when that's clearly our legacy here.

 

When I say grown up women *tend* it's not a blanket statement. I'm suggesting that we lean that way, not that all women are. As for magic dying with age, thanks SO much.

Since you've don't date women your age or older, how would you know that, DK? I think it isn't magic you're talking about, it's tight bodies. If that's the case, maybe you ought to stop talking about how you can't find a woman to have a relationship with, because everything you say indicates what you really want is a hookup, and that you seem to be successful at from what you've said. I don't think you really *want* anything more.
