lippy already had to shovel snow...it was heavy, wet, cold snow...the trees had not yet lost their leaves...so branches broke all over the city...now we have leaves and slush all over the place...then the slush freezes at night...my poor mastiff is skating on the back patio
Oh no! We're lucky so far that we haven't had snow, although I woke up to this morning to a lovely blanket of frost all over the place. It seems odd that it was just in the 50's, and it will be again on Monday, and here we are talking about snow!
Never been to the golden state or any of its many great cities......and sadly now I hear its changing and changing fast.......I was told if I want to visit, I need to go soon.......... I was told that approximately 1200 folks from south of the border are moving into your state every day and that 400 new cars are introduced onto you highway system ever day........Those rates appear to be unsustainable for the indigenous residents of that state....Is it true that American californians starting to feel a general squeeze ?
Smarty pants! :butthead: I do have to say, I loved living in Cali - we lived in Monterey. I woud move back there in a heartbeat. I miss SF, too. Coolest city I"ve ever been to (architecturally speaking, anyway).
We have more illegal immigrants than other states but their numbers have actually decreased since the onset of the economic crisis. The incentives that California, and the nation as a whole, offered to them have shrunk quite a bit (Dream Act notwithstanding). The number of deportations are also higher under the Obama administration than any president before him. The quality of life here is great by U.S. standards and I've always felt that black men are in high demand, but maybe I'm drawing too heavily from my own experiences.
Well thanks for your factual perspective and clarity, I was at one time inquiring about moving my business to San Diego for opportunities in structure design, but I was apparently misinformed .....In any case, your thesis has been useful..... continue the good ambassadorship for the blackmen of California........
