I agree with this. There are so many articles about how women should not date Momma's Boys because of this....

    Here are some:

There's a saying "if you have to ask If it's about you, then it probably is"...lol

Exactly. I'm on my phone or I'd link the article about the study I was referencing. Being a mamas boy to the extreme is nothing to be proud of.

I never asked if it was about me. Nice try.
Still didn't answer the question guru.

You're the one asserting that you know the difference. You often make a point to discern what a man and a mama's boy is but without any context. You make insanely huge generalizations like if a man who's mother has a key to his house is co dependent but you never question the frequency of how often she actually comes over and when she does does she call.
Or the whole putting groceries in ones home for one another. My brother(who isn't hers biologically) was going for his second masters in engineering so that he could get a fellowship for a professorship Jamaica and during that time when he was literally studying 6 hours a day on top of working 8 hours a day she would put food in his house because he really didn't have the time.

My mom would do my laundry for me when I was working 72 to 80 hr work weeks just to help me out. No if my gf or my brother's wife did it for us is that coddling or is that just taking care of each other?
I know you personal issues with it that we've discussed and I think that may color your attitude about it but some parents just like doing stuff for their kids. Its called love. It doesn't mean one is incapable nor unwilling nor expecting someone else to do it. It may happen but not all the time with everyone. Have I ever come across as entitled to you? I work for mostly everything in my life nothing is handed to me. Even if I'm given a little push I'm the one flying baby.

That's interesting actually. Wouldn't an Oedipus complex contribute to the whole notion of that finding as well?
