It's a Chris Rock movie. And pretty entertaining at that. True. Movie reviewers tend to be elitists at best and would rather give bad ratings to movies that are...not quite up to par with their standards.
haha no shit battle la got shitted on by many people, but i actually like it. i watched it twice so far. True Grit on the other hand got stellar reviews, but i think it sucked.
True Grit did so damn well because white people LOVE period pieces and are marveled by child acting. I totally agree that movie sucked monkey nuts. It was slow and to unrealistic for my taste. Two thumbs way down.
