Just saw her play the lesbian wife in the movie 'The Kids Are All Right' and I enjoyed every minute.

I watched it last night. And she went into the realm of bicurious lesbian love, thanks to those sex scenes she was in. Good movie.

If you lose or replace an item,.... the quickest way to locate that item is not to turn your house upside down in a search.......Just purchase a new identical item.........At which time, the original item will promptly manifest itself out of the prospect of being replaced............Items are like people, they dread being replaced......

I'm sad :( I found a young cat outside in a thunder storm on the 27th. I could hear him cryin' outside from my second story apt through my closed windows. Well, my dumbass went outside and got him and brought him in. I tried to find it's owner (it is not feral) and he has on a collar (no tags). He has the most awesome personality ever. So sweet, so affectionate, so playful. Yeah, a little clingy too. After a few days of not finding previous or new owners, I put him back outside. Thinking maybe he's just lost and if I let him back out he will find his way home. Well, he wouldn't leave and just stayed around the apt building. In front of my windows meowing. Anyway, I can't keep him because I already have a cat and this place has a one pet policy. Plus my cat is an asshole when it comes to other cats. I called the animal shelter, but they'll just kill it and they won't come get him anyway and I have no transportation. I wish I never would have brought him in. Now I know what he's like and what a shame and a waste it would be to force him to stay out and become a feral kitty and just another stray. I'm sad. I don't know what to do. I feel responsible for him now and if anything happens to him if I put him back out. Motherfucker! I wish I would have just left it alone and not got involved. Now what? Why did he have to be so sweet and special with such a uniquely awesome disposition???

LMAO! That just happened to me not long ago. It only cost me a couple bucks though for the replacement and hey! now I have an extra one. But anyway, that's so true!

:( can you just keep him inside yours and put up flyers with a found pic of pussy around your local shops...??? place an ad in the local paper...??? ask the local vet if they can find a home for him...???

I know a local vet wouldn't take him or try to find a home for him. I don't have a way to make flyers. (Before I thought maybe the cat belonged to a neighbor in the building so I just wrote notes and put them on the bulletin board). And I'm not sure about putting my contact information in the newspaper. I'll think of something. Thank you for the suggestions though, maybe I'll still end up trying them if I can find a way to do it.

Have you looked on craigslist? My friend found a dog and the owners had put an advert up on there with a picture, maybe your cat's owners did the same :) Even if you can't take him in you'll be able to tell them where to look. I don't know if you can advertise 'found' pets there too, but that might be worth a try too. That way you won't have to give out your contact details or anything.

Thanks! I went there but I don't know how to navigate it. I did find a lost cat ad but it was in Florida, heh. And that's it. Here's a pic of him:

I'm trying to work something out with a girl friend of mine who used to work at the Humane Society/animal shelter to see if she can talk to them and keep him in the office or give him back to me if no one adopts him in a certain amount of time and before they kill him. I have apt inspections tomorrow and can't have him here.

I called the animal shelter and asked them if they were a no kill shelter. The lady said they're an 98% no kill shelter and that they only kill them if they're sick/diseased or if they have behavioral problems that make them unadoptable. And this cat has none of that. But then I talked to my friend and she said that 80% of the cats that go in the shelter end up sick from being there so they put them to sleep. So I said nevermind. But if we can work something out to where they can do her and me a favor and keep him separated or give him back if no one adopts him, then I might just let her take him there.

I'm wondering if he'd have a better chance at the shelter than outside at least. Because at least at the shelter people can see him and choose to adopt him or not. Whereas if someone saw him outside they'd probably just leave him. I don't know, I'm trying to figure it out. I hope I will figure something out. He'd make a really awesome pet for someone.

    britty...

    craigslist.org or just google craigslist

once you have a screen...off to the right click on us states...find your state...then click on your city, area, region whatever is closest

then look for the community section

    click on the pet section

you can look to see if anyone is looking for this fella

    or

post an ad with his picture and ad that you are trying to (re) home him...

I think he falls in love too easily, LoL. But yea, he's weird. When I brought him in he acted like he's lived there forever and like he owned the place and just went and plopped on my bed. He's a weirdo. I'm not really worried about inspections that much because I can just tell them I'm waiting for a friend to come pick him up or whatever, I'm sure. But the inspections are going to be going on for a couple days and I don't know if they'll get to me tomorrow or if I'm going to have to wait till the 5th and I have to work on the 5th and they're going to inspect whether I'm there or not and I won't be able to explain him to them. But we'll see. I'll check out craigslist again.

My city isn't there and the city that is on there that's closest to mine is 45 miles away. Hmmm

did they list regions or areas...sometimes it will say east, west, south, northern part of state....

No, but I just put my city in the search box and then some things came up involving pets, but none of them were the kitty I found. I'm just going to post an ad and put my city in it and maybe whoever lost him will look and be smart enough to include their city in the search box. It's worth a shot I think. :smt102
