Today, was a nice day and my daughter was on the playground with her after school group when I got there to pick her up. She wanted to stay and play, so I let her. Then the after school group went back inside and she was alone, and then a boy rode up on his bicycle. I knew she didn't like him, so I went over and asked her if she wanted to leave. She said no. Before I knew it, they were talking and flirting and playing. :smt043 She had fun playing with him, his sister and another older girl that showed up shortly afterward. This boy that she was flirting with and who was flirting with her is black. And she admitted to me that she likes a boy in her class (he's Indian). It appears that she's following in my footsteps. LOL. My daughter got him to admit that he likes her. Ah, to be 8! It was very cute to watch. :smt023
