When you joined this forum - what was your story?

Why I joined

I was 21 when I got married, I have one son. I felt I married too young and was missing something. I work for security company as an office manager. I met one of the guards that works for a super guy and we started talking and one thing led to another and we started having an affair. Yes he is black, but he is a great lover and fills a void in my life. You can judge me, but I make no apoligies. Who knows where it will lead, but i am just taking it one day at a time! Yes, you married too young and are now part of an unsatisfying situation with no clear path out. We get it, that narrative has been recycled in myths, poems, novels, soap operas, and primetime dramas forever.

I stumbled onto this site while surfing on the web. It was a few days ago and I don't remember what I was looking for when I did. I am single at the moment but I am not looking to meet anyone through this forum. I find that the internet is a horrible place for me to meet dates. I was married twice to white men after dating black men in college. Not sure why I ever strayed away! My divorce was final last month and, since it's been so long since I dated interacially, thought I'd check out these forums and see what the temperature is like these days. Wouldn't hurt if I met some local men, but I love that everyone on this site is in a similar situation/relationship and can relate to what's going on in my life. Well, at least part of my life.

Status, recently divorced.

Hoping to get, some answers to the questions I have about Interracial relationships. Nothing freaks me out, its just absurd I feel this way, ho[ing Im not alone.

I just joined recently.. and i'm currently in my first interracial relationship with a white woman. Its still pretty new and hella exciting.


2. What were you hoping to get from this forum/site?

I joined because I wanted to see what potential issues would crop up. For example, we went out to a bar and from the moment we walked in, visual daggers were being thrown at us by some random black chicks and white guys... I have never experienced anything like that, so I figured i'd best be as prepared as possible so i don't get suprised.
