haha. I never thought I would hear anyone who wasn't boring in Brisbane saying that. I will have to assume you're being sarcastic! Well, when you are back there, and if you want to go to a more female oriented gay bar, as opposed to the male one (the beat) check out the Wickham. It's only about a 5 min (if that) walk from the beat. right near Bruswick st station.
Australia is nice because of the diversity of people. eg I'm Australian, but my dad was born in Greece and mum Serbia, so I'm like an Aussie-Meditterreanean-Slavic person. There are lots of us like that.
I always thought that, but until I travelled, I didn't realise how really homogenous Australia is. We're mixed, but only in a European context. We're not really internationally mixed, IMO. And, it seems that people intergrate more at home than they do in other places, so even if people look different, they're more likely to be participating in the wider community. That's just how I see it after my six-plus months on the road.
With this mix of Aussie women which nationality love the brothers more? Like the ones who wait for the navy bros, basketball players,or regular brothers who live or visit Oz.
IMO there is no difference between all the "white" people in Australia...They would all date bm equally. Perhaps down south, in Melbourne, where there's a huge greek/italian component, they might stick to their own a bit. But, I'm not from there, so can't really comment. I've seen a few Islander girls with BM - maori, tonga, samoa. But, the same with the USA and everywhere else, the asians and indians generally stick to their own. I think there are two types of girls, generally (and this is a very broad brush approach). The ones who love BM, because they represent a culture, a coolness and all that...they like the image. Those are the ones who wait for the ship and th bball teams. Then you have women who prefer BM for every other reason. And these women are more likely to wait for any brother - for a relationship...not just some arm candy and a BBC. That's the way I see it. I don't think this is exclusive to Australia though. But, if you're black you can probably score in Australia, because BM are rare at home. Especially BM who are not african. And, I've talked about this difference elsewhere on this board.
Hey Justa... I hope you're doing ok with Cyclone Charlotte coming through up there. Heard there's been some bad flooding again for you guys. Not sure if it's hit Cairns or not...Anyway. Stay safe, and dry, and away from windows!
Hi, thanks fehg, the cyclone did not hit us thankfully, but the with the low came much rain. Night before last we were deluged with a wonderful amount of water, coupled with a king tide mid-morning, it was very exciting!
Yeah, that is true. edited to add, I don't go for hip hop/homeboy style in the slightest really though some black guys like to assume you do.
I don't know any problems there would be in dating an Australian girl, other than distance. But you can say that about dating anyone who doesn't live in your metropolitan area :smt102
Don't let anyone tell you different homie.. you are gay...LOL I would have hit it in a heartbeat... no questions ask..
