OJ represents the deaph of racism in the US. No other White Male had that sort of treatment and mostly since the end of the first trial almost everybody had made money off of him and he seldom ever gets the bonanza of this high tech lynching to continues to be with him. The people who scream the loudest on the various reason on how OJ "did it" are the ones who are against him. I wonder how long would Clarkson's family get any money from the deep pockets of Phil Spector? I know it would not be as fast as OJ's.

That is very true, and I know this is a different story, but there's the same kind of "public lynching" with Barry Bonds...it's incredible that he has become the poster child of cheaters in sport when guys like McGuire, Giambi among others have also clearly taken steroids and enhancing stuff but no one ever talks about them negatively!!!

OJ is no angel, but the guy has become the Devil himself to the public eye!!! And honestly who are we to always cast the first stone so quickly???

    America, America...sometimes you disturb me...deeply!

I just think it's funny how people react when a black man does the same negative thing as a white man. The media and public is quick to support the white family of the victims, but not so eager to support the black families of victims killed by KKK members?

You may think he brought it on himself, but I'm glad he did that. Nobody says shit when KKK members sell props (ropes, head gears,T-shirts), or even gather in groups to figure out how they're gonna kill us "niggers". But OJ doesn't even release a book called "if I did it", and all of a sudden white american feels the pain blacks do when they see a pointed hoodie, and refuse to let such a book be released. Pretty funny huh? I guess the black peoples pain does mean much. So I ask you, how low is that?

I'm not attacking you or turning this into a black vs white, but it is what it is. I think what's even more sick is, this guy wouldn't have a problem serving a KKK member who got away with murdering blacks in the early 1900's.

The support comment also made me laugh a bit honestly. Why aren't people supporting little Jean B Ramsey by disrespecting her parents who "potentially killed her" like OJ?

No question the Ramseys never have trouble being served in Atlanta and elsewhere in the US. Sure they are not charged but their daughter was killed on their watch. For a falsely accoused or innocent Black male the treatment would be suspect along with the fake outrage.

actually there was a little black girl that went missing here in colorado over a year ago...the family said that she had run away...they have never found the girl...the step mother has since died and the father was under investigation but no charges were ever filed...the father is a bm...and the step mother was a ww...the bw (mother) lives somewhere in the midwest...they dug up their yard, tore apart their house...no sign of the little girl...

I saw the owner being interviewed on the news. I don't think anyone has brought this up yet, but he described O.J.'s girlfriend getting up in his face about tossing them out - he told her that since she's blonde too, she should be careful because O.J. might kill her, too. :? I mentioned this on another message board in which several people were saying that they were sure race had nothing to do with it. They argued that who's to say the girlfriend wasn't a black woman with blonde hair? I never really considered that because of the Nicole reference - sounds to me he was using "blonde" as another word for "white." I didn't see any footage of O.J. and girlfriend so I had to admit she could be black, but I'm assuming that's the same girl in the picture posted here (therefore she's white). The owner got especially fired up when he made that comment - something about it made me immediately think that seeing O.J. with a white woman angered him. He could've just been extra pissed about the girl getting in his face, but...

I live only a couple hours from KY, and I don't know about Lexington, but the further south in Ohio you go, the more racist it is. I would seriously be afraid to go walking around with a black man in Ashland, KY. There is so much racial tension still lingering over the O.J. trial that I don't think anyone can be so quick to say that it was just a case of being mad over O.J. being aquitted or, I think the reason the owner gave was that he was afraid O.J. being there was going to cause a ruckus. I don't even think the O.J. trial would've blown up how it did or made O.J. into a notorious public figure had there not been two white victims.

    LOL!

You're figuring this out now? If nicole was black, it would have just been a negro killing his negro wife and off the news within weeks. Whites can't stand a black man might have got away with killing a innocent white person. Funny how much it hurts when the roles are turn around huh?

No need for the sarcasm. "Funny how much it hurts?" Who does it hurt, me? I was only a kid when the O.J. trial was on, so the outcome didn't have much affect on me. Even as a white person today, I don't share get the anger that many people have about a black man possibly getting away with murdering a white person. Don't put all white people in a box, please. Doing that isn't the best way to attract white women, just so you know.

Of course I'm not just figuring this out now. Duh. I brought it up to back up my point that the whole O.J. mess is intertwined with race so it's not hard to believe that the restaurant incident was racially motivated. As easy a concept as it sounds, many people seem to be in the dark or in denial about it.

Yes indeed now this racist fed judge wants to steal OJ's kids off that money from that book. It never happens to children of white athletes who did crimes.

LAS VEGAS — An all-white jury was chosen late Thursday to judge O.J. Simpson and a co-defendant on kidnapping and robbery charges after a contentious courtroom battle in which defense lawyers argued African-Americans were being systematically excluded by the prosecution.

District Attorney David Roger defended the final makeup of the jury, saying that two of six alternate jurors are black. Clark County District Judge Jackie Glass said she saw no evidence of a systematic exclusion of African-Americans.

Roger gave the judge what he called "race neutral" reasons for removing two African-American women from the jury panel with his peremptory challenges.

Both of the women who were removed had strong religious views, and the prosecutor said he thought one of them would be inclined to "forgive" Simpson while the other said she was hesitant to send anyone to prison.

Defense attorneys for Simpson and co-defendant Clarence "C.J." Stewart, who are both black, moved to dismiss the entire jury — nine women and three men — and start again. The judge turned down the motion.

Simpson's 1995 acquittal on murder charges came from a predominantly black jury.

Lawyers and the judge worked into the night to select the final group. As they left the courthouse in darkness, Simpson attorney Yale Galanter said he was confident of his case.

"I don't think my client did anything wrong, I don't think he broke any laws. I'm glad that we're finally at the point where we can get these issues resolved," he said.

As Simpson drove away, he paused to sign a T-shirt for some fans. It was emblazoned with the words, "Pray for O.J."

Opening statements were scheduled for Monday, and the trial is expected last five weeks.

Not among those chosen for the final panel was a former policeman who sparred with lawyers over his declaration that Simpson was a murderer. He claimed he could be fair to the former football star.

Peremptory challenges are reserved for removing prospective jurors without stating a cause. The final pool of prospects included a number of people who disagreed with Simpson's acquittal in the murders of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman. But they said they could put that aside and weigh the Las Vegas case on its own merits.

Simpson, 61, is accused with Stewart, 54, of kidnapping, armed robbery and other crimes for allegedly stealing items from two sports memorabilia dealers in a hotel room confrontation last year. They have pleaded not guilty. Each could face life in prison with the possibility of parole if convicted of kidnapping, and mandatory prison time if convicted of armed robbery.

Earlier in the day, the judge issued an order refusing to release questionnaires filled out by the jurors who make up the panel. She said she had promised the panel she would keep their answers secret.

Colby Williams, a lawyer representing The Associated Press and Las Vegas Review-Journal who sought disclosure of the questionnaires, said he has filed an appeal with the Nevada Supreme Court on grounds that the public and the media have a First Amendment right of access to information about jurors in a criminal case.

They don't want any slip-ups this time. No pesky black jurors. They're gonna do what they couldn't back in '95.

That being said, I have no sympathy for OJ, at 60 years old his ass should be sat down somewhere instead of out here clowning like a rapper, trying to beat people up and shit.

yes i saw it. He was at the la airport-a public place where people will take your pic if you are famous! I don't know what set him off-but i saw the footage of him and a guy with him tearing up some cameras. I think that getting your pic. taken in an airport comes with the territory of fame. I don't know why these famous people think they can choose when they want to use their fame and then turn it off when it's not convenient. (I am definately not in favor of invading anyone's privacy-but come on- an airport is a public place.)

It does stink when there is a all White jury. They just want to retry the case and I don't believe O.J. murdered his ex and "friend". Sorry, the word of a racist cop and a bloody sock with no footprints on a rug has not convinced me.

I am not going over the evidence, but Soulthinker you must be the only one left in the country that doesn't believe O.J. murdered his ex wife and her friend. But he will get his someday.

OJ Simpson did not grow up in a Talented Tenth family,he got to the top the hard way. The treatment of him is out of the ordinary. He is also not a Black activist but because he was accoused and aquitted of killing two people of the majority race,he was treated differently. Johnny Cochran,God Bless Him did a great job. Don't forget when OJ won most of the Black community cheered.

I don't believe he did it either, to be honest. None of the evidence ever added up. I could go into it deeper, but what's the point. Apparently the jury agreed. Doesn't let him off hook with these new charges though.

There's no doubt in my mind that OJ murdered his ex and is responsible for his current troubles. That said...where's the outrage over Robert Blake and Phil Spector getting away with the same? We "know" they did it too!
