Whitmer as well will be in the running but yeah I don't think Dems pick a Women in 2028.

Shapiro really depends on how this whole Palestine Israel situation gets resolved.

Shapiro also has that murder case he covered up for a mensch and fought the family of the victim to classify it as a SUICIDE. How do you stab yourself over seven times in the back of your neck?!? Fortunately the family was eventually able to appeal his decision to the PA Supreme Court and get the case reclassified as a homicide and the criminal investigation can move forward. Josh Shapiro looks to have dirty hands on this matter and time will tell how it all works out. The woman was the former paramour of Josh Shapiro's business associate.

Yeah that is another issue for Shapiro as well.

The Dems do have an interesting enough roster

I am watching "Fox and Friends" this post election Saturday morning and the have the Kamala Harris Finance Chair on. She is giving up tapes on the inside dysfunction and disinformation of the last few months lol. Her name is LINDY LI and she is an Asian-American multi-millionaire. You have to find her interview with Will Cain on YouTube:

VP Harris' CORONATION was an epic diaster,' says DNC Official

I wish I could post it here but long story short . . . she said she feels misled because she doesn't have sufficient answers for all the mega donors that entrusted her with their vast wealth that amounted to > $1 BILLION DOLLARS. The Obama's never wanted Kamala she says . . . they waited several days to endorse her for a reason. They wanted an open DNC convention rather than the coronation we received in August. She say they really wanted Senator Mark Kelly to run against Donald Trump but the Harris faction of the party REJECTED him . . .

She was asking the Harris campaign people were they sure they were going to win even as election night was ongoing and they reassured her that her efforts had not been in vain. She emphasized that Barack & Michelle Obama didn't truly believe that Kamala Harris was strong enough a candidate to win the White House . . . which is why they were so hesitant initially . . . the name she kept hearing again and again this summer from Obama-world was Senator Mark Kelly. This was the "Red Wedding" for the DNC establishment and the Kamala Harris campaign she feels . . . never in her life has she been involving such a catastrophic failure!!

Nevada just called it for Trump.
Clean sweep of all 5 swing States. ( and Iowa). Good thing you're not a pollster. ;)

The New York Times - Sienna College poll really got Nevada wrong as did Jon Ralston of The Last Vegas Review Journal though he really hedged his bets by effectively calling it a the with Harris having a half pond lead in his final poll

Trump has never N-E-V-E-R ever won the Silver State before. This election just wasn't meant to be lol. With abortion on the ballot and NV being the only state with legalized prostitution one would think that those Working Women wanted healthcare options especially as NV is a union state so all those Brothels are union shops lol. Make it make sense that they want to become Oklahoma now?!? This just wasn't meant to be I have to believe;)

It hurts a lot. It's like the Tories return to the US in the person of Oswald Mosley or Enoch Powell.

Trump, Who Claimed He Knew Nothing About Project 2025, Reverses Course

Donald Trump wants a Project 2025 architect to play a starring role in his Cabinet.

Donald Trump repeatedly told America he had “nothing to do” with Project 2025. But now, he’s welcoming its architect into his Cabinet with open arms.

Russ Vought, who was deeply involved in the creation of Project 2025 and wrote an entire chapter in the right-wing playbook, is being strongly considered for an upcoming Cabinet position, according to several sources who spoke with ABC News. Vought has already begun the vetting process and has been seen at Mar-a-Lago meeting with Trump’s team.

Vought—a former lobbyist, self-described Christian nationalist, and director of the Office of Management and Budget in Trump’s first term—authored a chapter in the 922-page MAGA extremist master plan titled “Executive Office of the President” for Project 2025’s “Mandate for Leadership: The Conservative Promise” section. The chapter serves as “a comprehensive policy guide for the next conservative U.S. president.”

Vought isn’t the only Project 2025 alum being floated for a crucial role in the Trump Cabinet. Gene Hamilton, who wrote a chapter about how the Justice Department needed a “top to bottom overhaul” because it is “captured by an unaccountable bureaucratic managerial class and radical Left ideologues who have embedded themselves throughout its offices and components,” has been seriously floated for an important legal team position. Trump has also nominated Project 2025 contributor and free-speech “warrior” Brendan Carr to serve as Federal Communications Commission chair.

On the campaign trail, Trump had tried to distance himself from Project 2025, particularly after it became a focus point for Democrats. “This was a group of people that got together, they came up with some ideas, I guess some good, some bad, but it makes no difference. I have nothing to do [with it],” Trump stated during his nationally televised debate with Vice President Kamala Harris. His loyal transition team co-chair Howard Lutnick described the project as an “absolute zero” and “radioactive.”

And yet here we are, with Vought, Carr, and Hamilton cozying back up to the president-elect, who was surely lying to America throughout his campaign. The skeleton plan for the far-right takeover is coming alive.

That being said, I'm getting burned out on people having this irrational fear of him. My girlfriend is looking to escape to Europe. He''s clearly expressed some dangerous views regarding elections, strategic alliances, economic policy and more, but he isn't a monarch. He may try some extralegal measures, but people should remember that the capitalist class is not unified in support of him and he won't be able to just wave a magic wand and do whatever. The Senate has already dealt him a blow by choosing a senator other than his preferred pick as Majority Leader. These power maximizing individuals are not going to fight to get elected to a position and then vote to weaken it and diminish the power they struggled to get. Also, people should remember that the military told the other legislators in the constitutionally mandated line of succession that they would not support an unconstitutional power grab. And many of these political actors who have opposed him are on the right wing. The best antidote to a Trump presidency is organizing, not fleeing in terror. If it gets to the point where he's exacting revenge on people, etc, then I will be the first to acknowledge that and tell everyone to head for the exits.

It's finally time for a legitimate grassroots third party option that is actually about governing for the whole country. The two party system ( as well as what passes for third party options) we currently have is too fixated on catering to only a specific demographic (White working class) and grabbing power in order to line their pockets at the expense of everyone else. Unfortunately Trump and his lackeys will need to fuck shit up to the point that people who actually want to govern for the good of all organize and create a solid alternative against what's to come in the next four years.

Agreed, but I want to see an effort to change election laws first. That's necessary to make a third party even viable. The fact that the Greens, Libertarians and others aren't focusing on that demonstrates to me that they aren't really serious about developing an alternative to the two-party system.
