You're right the internet has really embolded so many into tough guys. These types of wrestling fans are sometimes referred to as Diva Droolers,

What do you also expect from guys like this


They live through the show because their lives are so empty. They seem to be only second to porn fans in that respect, you probably have lots of overlap between to the two fandoms.

 

I am struggling to make it through this second episode of emergence. The main actress seems like she is dialing it in from her role on Fargo. Does this getting any better?

Than again I already suspected those spoilers because I'm 6 episodes into the show & certain characters haven't had any scenes together.

Looks like the only IR(bm/ww) on this show is dunzo, over, finished. lol.

The Jackson character just seems to be fading in this show by the looks of this trailer.

 

Oh another.Netflix film where the only black people who get to be in love are black girls and gay black people. Straight black men are only a proxy for love triangles where the girl picks a white dude. Smh

 

CandyJar, Soundtrack and Let It Snow along with some others were the complete opposite. But yeah this concept is OBVIOUSLY racist. And tiresome.

Netflix producers seem to LOVE gay black men but don't have much use for straight ones

I'm SURPRISED y'all watch all those other disappointing Netflix shows, but still pass on watching "Friends from College". It ain't perfect (In fact it completely messy) but it ABSOLUTELY shits on the other shows when it comes to a straight BM having love interests.

 

The story lines were awful couldn't sit through it

Did you stick out with "Emergence"? I'm considering getting into it.

 

If you can make it past episode 3 it’s good.

 

Writers do it based on the fantasies of female viewers. They enjoy love triangles because it makes them feel more desirable (multiple men wanting their affection). It is slightly similar to movies like the James Bond franchise, where it appears that all women want his affection.

The difference being that it’s always some racist thing where the white guy wins out and the black man is some psuedo cuckold that gets stuck hanging around or ends up getting paired with a black woman (always brown skin, never dark nor light).

 

I like the show. The only thing that will make me dump it is if they use those same racial tropes in these love triangles like cuck the black guy and make him weak. Miles remains to be a strong character especially with the female fanbase. The female fanbase loving the black male characters always matters because they flood those hashtags online because they always tag the show's twitter handle and the cast's twitter handles to show their pleasure with the black male characters and when these shows fuck up like legacies they show their displeasure. lol.

We're not the only ones that are sick of the love triangles especially when they make the black guy look bad and that's a good thing.
