This trailer seems a little underwhelming for a series finale. I hope there is something deeper going on than just that story line.

Nonetheless excited with bitter-sweetness to see this show one last time.

They shot the season before Netflix cancelled all their Marvel shows.

They're still going to air episodes 2-10 every friday. I heard reports that The CW might pick it up.

Uncertainty is a major concern for me, and for fear of unresolved plot lines, I don't really want to watch more episodes of Swamp Thing.

I feel you. I felt the same way about The Innocents even though Netflix still haven't announced themselves whether that is cancelled or not.

With such '90s programs as Northern Exposure and All That getting revivals, X-Men: The Animated Series might also be returning, provided an upcoming pitch gets greenlit.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the series' creative team is aiming to approach Disney, which now holds the rights to the characters, about a continuation of the series. "The one thing we'd like to do more than anything else is to continue where we left off," series producer and director Larry Houston said. That outlet reports the series' aesthetic might change in the revival. Details about what considerations Disney would have to take in reviving the property were not mentioned. It was not made clear when the team would approach the studio.

Running for five season between 1992 and 1997 on Fox Kids, X-Men: The Animated Series is often considered one of the best comic book-based cartoons ever. The show was notable for its mature storytelling and complex characters. Among the many stories from the comics adapted for the series was "The Dark Phoenix Saga," which has recently been brought back to the big screen as Dark Phoenix.

As the rights to Marvel heroes previously held by Fox now belong to Disney, the X-Men and Fantastic Four are fair game for future Marvel Studios films. However, Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige says fans shouldn't expect to see the X-Men in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for "a very long time."

Directed and written by Simon Kinberg, Dark Phoenix stars James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Nicholas Hoult, Sophie Turner, Tye Sheridan, Alexandra Shipp, Kodi Smit-McPhee, Evan Peters and Jessica Chastain. The film is in theaters now.

The future of the DC Universe streaming service may be in jeopardy, as WarnerMedia reportedly reconsiders its larger streaming strategy.

According to Deadline, DC Universe is being "reevaluated" to see how it fits into WarnerMedia's plans, which center on a WarnerMedia-branded streaming service that's set to launch within the next few years.

As the report suggests, DC Universe is one of many initiatives that's being reviewed by the media giant after AT&T's acquisition of Time Warner, Warner Bros. and DC's parent company.

Since it launched in 2018, DC Universe has offered subscribers access to thousands of comics, dozens of DC films and shows, including a handful of original series like Titans, Doom Patrol and Young Justice: Outsiders.

Although Swamp Thing was canceled early in its first season early today, the cancellation of that series may have chiefly motivated by tax issues, which also may have played a role in the show's episode order being reduced from 13 to 10.

Although Doom Patrol has not yet been renewed, Titans is currently filming its second season, and a new batch of Young Justice episodes is set to be released on the service this summer. An animated Harley Quinn series and a live-action Stargirl show are expected to debut on the service in the coming months as well.

While WarnerMedia shuttered the boutique film streaming service FIlmstruck and the Korean-Drama service DramaFever last year, DC Universe is one of several active WarnerMedia streaming services that includes the classic cartoon-centric Boomerang, the anime giant CrunchyRoll and HBO Go.

I predicted last year this would happen just off the fact that the DC Universe service was planned & worked on before Time Warner was sold to AT&T. While the upcoming Warnermedia service is the baby of the new AT&T ownership.

This was MY show back then. One of the best animated series on Television during the 90's.
