I've heard this before about rape kits, but she says she was forcibly raped by him. If you read some of the details I'm like how can you have that violent of an encounter with someone and not go to the police. But I was never in a position like that so I can't really talk about someone's thinking. But those reasons about how the way civil lawsuits work are the MAIN reason why I'am suspicious of those who file them. They are not under much pressure to prove their case and can still win.

And if they did they would've been called hypocrites because of their lyrics and alleged incidents. They probably saw what happened with Aziz Ansari and learned from it. Remember they want men with an unrealistic super clean type of hands supporting the movement. Because if you even looked at a naked woman in a movie before and enjoyed it you can be called an hypocrite because of how broad they are painting these terms, remember some women want Aziz to go down for "sexual coercion".

 

Just pinning a rose on their suit doesn't turn a bad boy into a nice guy. If they had done that it would have been hypocritical as they don't have a very good track record respecting women.

 

You really have to be careful about the media and reporters in this day and age, for whatever topic.

Yes, they write and perform tasteless and misogynistic lyrics and some have been investigated for sex-related incidences, however, for this reporter to infer that they deliberately left the white roses at home in solidarity, is unfair without proof.

Just because they didn't mention it (unless they were asked, and dismissed it, which then please disregard the rest of this), they do not have to speak on it voluntarily.

From all accounts I'm reading, the "white rose wearing' was a last-minute decision and many New York florists did not have sufficient white roses to provide for the demand, which would explain why Common and John Legend didn't have any either. Funny how they're not accused of being in solidarity with each other to dismiss the #TimesUp Movement.

Now I'm not saying that the rappers mentioned wouldn't have chosen to do that to begin with - l don't know - I'm just saying that for this reporter to declare a rejection solidarity as fact, without them actually speaking on it, is disingenuous at the least. The Movement doesn't need exaggeration, or anyone spinning it.

It's a bunch of idiots who desperately want dating to be like shopping. They don't want a connection they want a scenario they have complete control of.

People say that, but IRL I bet it doesn't go down like that. You just can't be asking females out when you're signing their checks. Otherwise, most women I think still like to be complemented on their appearance and how they dress, as long as you don't get creepy about it.
