They don't need to remake that film, it's like re-inventing the wheel at this point. We don't need to be constantly reminded how taboo a BMxWW pairing is.

I was just watching the commercial during the game today and noticed that it's Rated R for sexual situations and nudity. I would be
totally shocked if Cube has a sex scene in this. LOL!!

 

Meh, I still think they are gonna handle it like they handled Ice Cube & Olivia Munn in "Ride Along 2".

I just found about this teen sci-fi thriller film with a black lead (Played by Jacob Latimore) coming out this year (April 7th) called "Sleight":








The main supporting chick is played by Seychelle Gabriel. According to Wikipedia, Her father is of Mexican and French descent while her mother is of Italian ancestry in case anybody was wondering if she was white.

That scene was suggested but never shown. On the DVD when the two scientists inside the alien spacecraft are trying to contact the ship there was only a quick shot of an empty bridge.

 

Do you remember the film Guess Who with Ashton Kutscher and Bernie Mac? It was considered a remake but in reverse.

I believe that Guess Who's Coming To Dinner belongs on the "Do Not Touch" list.

Ice Cube will always be that guy. He only changed when he did those family friendly films. If there are any sexual situations in this film it would be between Cube and a black woman. Or it will be between minor characters.

Funny movie. Reminds me of 3 o'clock High, The Principal and Teachers.

An uncomfortable encounter with a local cop puts them – and us – on edge and once they arrive at the family home and get settled, Chris becomes aware of increasingly strange, and potentially murderous, behavior. A major element of this relates to racial difference as Chris must navigate an almost entirely white space (apart from the “help”), relying on a lifetime’s worth of practice dealing with micro-aggressions and discrimination. It’s a thrilling conceit and one hopes that Get Out might signal a trend of culturally relevant horror films from film-makers of color.

Unfortunately just like "A United Kingdom" it will probably be critically acclaimed, but ignored by the media.
