Here's something I think that's really missing out there....follow through.

I think most agree it's great to be friendly, etc. But if you don't ask for the number or ask them out....it really doesn't matter. Don't miss the opportunity.

While it may be really flattering to run into someone that you haven't seen in several years to hear them say how they had REALLY wanted to go out with you...it would have been much better to have the actual opportunity to go out with them.

It has taken me a long time to learn to ask a girl for her phone number without qualifiers, disclaimers etc... and to ask a second time without making a face or getting short of breath about feeling rejected the first time. It's all about confidence, it isnt the woman's fault for reacting to me, it's my own.

 

I feel for you reading your post! Makes me glad I'm not a man and don't have to do the pursuing! Keep at it though, women may reject a man for a million different reasons, and none of them have to do with the man himself! One can't begin to assess another's baggage in a few short moments.

this is soooooo true! I think the key is to not over think it. Just let it go if it doesn't work out. I know it's hard to not take things personally...but often times they really aren't.
