Georgia Democrat rep who endorsed Trump resigns after backlash: report

Democrati state Rep. Vernon Jones told The Rashad Richey Morning Show, a talk show in Atlanta, that despite his resignation he would not be leaving the Democrat Party because

"Somebody's got to be in there to hold them accountable -- hold them accountable to how they are treating black people [and] root out the bigotry."

"Turn the lights off, I have left the plantation," Someone else can occupy that suite. Therefore, I intend not to complete my term effective April 22, 2020."

Democrat parties in both counties planned to censure Jones for the Trump endorsement, according to the Journal-Constitution.

Jones, after his original endorsement, told the paper that

"President Trump’s handling of the economy, his support for historically black colleges and his criminal justice initiatives drew me to endorse his campaign."

State Sen. Nikema Williams, chairwoman of the state Democrat Party, issued a statement soon after Jones' endorsement of Trump calling Jones an “embarrassment,” adding, Jones “does not stand for our values.”

Jones tweeted:

"I’ve seen more Democrats attack me for my decision to endorse @realdonaldtrump than ask me why," he said. "They’ve used and abused folks in my community for far too long, taking our votes for granted. Black Americans are waking up. An uprising is near."

"I don't care what the Democrat Party does to me -- What are they going to do? Spank me?"

He continued:

"More African-Americans, prior to this pandemic, were working more than any other time in my lifetime."

In a final tweet, Jones said:

"The left hates me because they can't control me. They can stay mad."

I intend to help the Democrat Party get rid of its bigotry against Black people that are independent and conservative,”

“I endorsed the White guy (Donald J. Trump) that let Blacks out of jail, and they endorsed the White guy (Joe Biden) that put Blacks in jail."

Any Democrat who calls his own party the 'Democrat Party' instead of Democratic Party deserves to be out.

Ultraviolet blood irradiation: Is it time to remember “the cure that time forgot”?
By Ximing Wu, Xiaoqing Hu, and Michael R. Hamblin

Abstract
Ultraviolet blood irradiation (UBI) was extensively used in the 1940s and 1950s to treat many diseases including septicemia, pneumonia, tuberculosis, arthritis, asthma and even poliomyelitis. The early studies were carried out by several physicians in USA and published in the American Journal of Surgery...

Viral Infections /Hepatitis
BPT/ UBI has a number of actions that have been shown to significantly reduce viral load. Those being:

  • Attacking infections that are within the blood
  • Improving the function of the blood, rheological improvements, i.e. blood flow, carrying capacity and increased red blood cell production
  • Increases the activation of circulating IgM and IgG which are non specific immune factors
  • Increases surface antibodies on red blood cell membrane
  • Provide an auto vaccine for specific strains of virus
Currently we are seeing some resurgence of US based studies, i.e. Energex Systems and Harris Medical. This list is by no means exhaustive, but covers many studies done with UBI.

Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation Therapy
Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation, also called Photoluminescence Therapy, is intravenously applied ultraviolet energy. Due to its profound photochemical, biochemical and physiological effects it has been of great value in a wide variety of diseases.

Niels Ryberg Finsen is
considered the father of Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation....
In 1903 he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for his phototherapy.

In 1928, E. Knott, M.D., Seattle, Washington, developed this therapy further and used a device that made extracorporeal ultraviolet blood irradiation possible.

In the 1930s, 1940s and 1950s, E. K. Knott, V. Hancock and other physicians applied ultraviolet blood irradiation successfully with a variety of conditions. There are published reports of treatment results with bacterial diseases, viral infections including acute and chronic hepatitis, poliomyelitis, encephalitis, overwhelming toxemias, rheumatoid arthritis and many others. With the advent of the Salk vaccine against polio and the antibiotics against bacterial infections, Ultraviolet Blood Irradiation fell in disuse until recent years.

Contextually, he spoke correctly.
Your comment alone proves his point.

'Democrat Party' is a slur that was introduced into the political lexicon in the 1990s by Rush Limbaugh. Contextual?? Bullshit.
If he can't say the 'Democratic Party', he needs to find another job.

I know it's a slur, hence my word contextual, because when he said it, he asked sarcastically, 'what are they going to do to me, spank me??'
He was pissed and rightly so.
Those fuckers threatened him all because he said he appreciated the positive policies that helped Black people -- from prison reform, to the massive funding for HBU's, to the historical low Black unemployment rate, all under the Trump Administration. Are you that delusional?
