I confess to being surprised by one development in the Drumpf clown car caravan: the racist base being willing to vote for Byron Donalds for Governor of Florida is something that I did not anticipate. I thought their base racism was stronger than their worship of Drumpf and that they would NEVER back a black man over a white reactionary like James Fishback. The reactionary base, though, is comprised of both Drumpf cult followers AND white racists, with a significant, but not total, Venn Diagram area of union between the two.
