Trayvon Martin's Murder

well yeah it does matter in which statistics you're looking at

me..i'm talking about incarceration rates based off federal stats. bm are more likely to see jail time per x-thousand of people, and make up nearly half of the prison population. That could be due to a variety of factors (racism, biased trials, corrupt systems, etc..or just due to mothafuckas being criminals), but looking at that from a glance could lead certain people to stereotype and fear.

the media/movies don't help either. you see so many roles for blacks as the typical jailhouse perp, drug dealer, whatever.

but again..that doesn't give you the right to aggressively follow someone and kill them. If that was the case, we'd be allowed to kill wm for fear of racism.

Exactly and based on the statistics argument I guess I have the right to go question any white man over thirty who happens to be alone at anywhere since they make up the demographic of serial killers, rapists, and child molestors.
Or call the cops anytime I see a white woman scold her child in public since they are more likely to kill their kids.
And no matter what the statistic says it makes up ridiculous low percentage of the amount of people who actually do anything. Less than 5% of the black population gets arrested and/or incarcerated yet that demographic is the face of the entire race. Does that make sense to anyone?

like i said tho...the media is to blame as well as a focus on certain statistics, instead of viewing other ones

ive seen countless movies where the main guy is white, but has a friend or enemy that's a black criminal

it boggles the mind why we'd be reflected in such a light

Now he didn't say that and he did express anger about the killing, but the two items are apples and oranges. Regardless of what larger socioeconomic problems the black community faces, they do not justify following, confronting and shooting a black child. I don't care if he was walking through the neighborhood drinking a 40-ounce of malt liquor singing "Fuck the Police" at the top of his lungs. Addressing that is a job for the police, not an overzealous gun nut. Give Trayvon and his family justice. Then, if you're truly of goodwill, work to address the difficulties facing minorities and the poor. But do NOT conflate the two.

tbh..a warrant needs to be issued for his arrest/detainment..letting him run wild and possibly leave the country is fucking ridiculous

Its not about black on black crime which is just crime when any other race does it btw. Its about equal justice under the law. It has less to do with a white hispanic killing a blsck teenager and more to do with him basically getting away with it despite mounting evidence. Wish you guys put the justice system under the same microscipe you do the entire black race. It really is unfair and illogical.

Thank you. This wouldn't have even been a story if Zimmerman had been taken into custody to start with. Naturally this is too complicated for many right-wingers. They've been going around posting every black on white crime they can find in the news in response like the entire thing boils down to tit for tat. Completely missing the point. Like always.

Not true. Keep in mind I think Zimmerman is probably guilty but I'm just looking at the bigger picture.

Black males' worst enemy isn't white guys or "white hispanics"...its black males.

Pssst. You know your black ass is not going to move back to the hood and become a leader and role model in the community to help stop any of that black on black crime, because that's one of the biggest and best steps we as black men/people would have to do to counter a lot of the negative shit. You aren't concerned enough to possibly get a cap popped in your ass to stop that shit so quit playing..........

What don't you motherfuckers understand? This ain't about white-on-black crime. It's about the police response when a black person is the victim. When black people kill people, even other black people, they go to jail where they belong.

I see that Juan Williams' masters over a Fox told him to go out and obfuscate the issue for people who can't think critically.
