I appreciate the support from those giving me positive rep tonight. I don't know if something is in the "troll water" or what's going on tonight. First, you have some nut trying to convince people that Ron Paul is next messiah, then Mr. I'm Black but I've there's nothing or no one Black person in the world who makes me proud, historically or now. Geezz!!!

But then again, you’d be surprised how big an impact on "verbal performance" losing a thesaurus can have on a literary geek.
 
It's the last night of my trip, I begin the long journey home tomorrow, so I'd like to say a big thank you to all the amazing people I've met along the way.


FG - I fell in love with you the moment I walked through your door! Thank you so much for your hospitality, the laughter, the great talks, the great food and the fantastic road trip to San Francisco that would never have been as much fun without you. I still owe you $20, I haven't forgotten lol

IB - Girl, it was a long time coming and I'm SO glad we got to meet! You're so lovely, so funny and so incredibly kind hearted, I just love ya! Thank you for making the trip out to see us, driving all that way in those incredible heels. Wish we could hang out more.

Kushton - Thank you for introducing me to Chicago deep dish pizza, to Hooters and to the food channel (cupcake wars!) lol. Thanks for humouring me while I squealed over baby gibbons and gorillas at the Lincoln Park zoo. Thanks to your bar tender friend for the free booze! It was so much fun hanging with you.

FRESH - Thank you for the meal that I never got to repay you for! (Glad to see you posted yesterday, I seriously thought you'd dropped off the face of the earth lol) You're such a great guy and so easy to talk to, I had a really fun time. Shame we didn't get to go dancing like we planned ;)

Books - Thanks for the texts and I'm sorry we couldn't get it together! Wish we could have seen a movie together seeing as we both are known to go it alone ;)

Jaisee - I had the greatest long weekend in Florida, it just couldn't have been any better (maybe if I'd stayed longer!). Two solid days at the beach was exactly what I needed. Thank you for opening your home to me, for introducing me to your fantastic friends (who I love), for making me laugh always, and for some good talks about life. I swear we share the same mind sometimes! P.S. I miss your pets, even psycho Sammy

Drae - Sorry your "allergies" prevented us from going out for sushi, but your loss KID! :rolleyes:

Dreaming_Blue - People scoffed when I said I was going to Buffalo, but I'm so glad I didn't let anyone deter me! Your hospitality was BEYOND incredible, I'm in love with your house and your adorable dogs (my heart still pines for Amos!). Great food, great company, great chocolate. Too bad the weather couldn't have been better. And thanks for the skype session with Drae that made me see his less a-hole side ;)


And thank you ol' US of A! I think I'll miss you the most xxx
