no preference, though the index finger is often the poking finger

 

my middle finger is the longest, id have to disagree with you on this one...

Well, the pic is kind of angled too much to get a real accurate shape.

Yes, you have a nice middle finger. Looks about the same thickness as index but longer. I know my index finger is fatter than my middle finger because rings fit snugger in my index than my middle.
