i was actually just thinking that you would be the perfect person...i know you could make a fabulous character for lippy with some cute cats and an enormous dog...a few handsome bm and we would be set...i was over in the other thread when you were talking about getting an internship...do you have any ideas where you will 9-5 until you develop your own following and become independent...

I've no idea, honestly, because in the end it really depends on where I can get work when I graduate. I hope to find a place offering an internship that I'd actually like to keep working with following graduation, but the chances of me finding that in Houston are slim to none. It's still two years away, but I've already made sure Nate and I have discussed (and continue to discuss) the strong chance of me leaving Texas after I get my degree, since I feel that's important to talk about if we are lucky enough to still be together then.

Honestly, I wanna work for Pixar, but that's not something that could happen, unless I manage to figure out how to become a seasoned animator with 10 years experience in 2 years. lol

Right now I want to get some feelers out on where I -could- work in Houston, though, because, since some internships are paid, I might be lucky enough to snag one of those and be fine without having to work fast food. That would be so amazingly awesome.

As for developing a following...yeah, I'm not holding my breath. lol Maybe by the time I'm 40 and I have honed my craft enough. As it stands right now I can't even get my stuff into a gallery.

I think that if I do well enough this quarter I may be able to at least snag some freelance work, because I've got some exciting projects coming up. I'm working on a commerical for class that I am holding myself to professional standards with, and a short film I want to showcase on my demo reel. With the other projects I've got, I could have a small, but impressive portfolio to send to potential employers...so that's the short term goal.

...sorry for derailing. lol
