HAHAHA...nah, you live in Italy..not quite the moon. And thanks, I'd like to keep GQ. He's a pretty cool forum fiance. You're totally invited to the wedding, btw. :-D
Damn right! I just have to know one thing... What in the name of Gatsby do you do that you're up at 4am?! Cause, if that's what I have to look forward to, we have to have separate bedrooms. LOL
ROFLMAO, yeah I'm an early to bed, early to rise kind of guy. Healthy and wise, now it just needs to make me wealthy. Started it in college, I was one of the few students that took early classes, went to breakfast and such, while everyone else was sleeping off their hangovers. Lots of self discipline when you have two military parents growing up.
LOL We all just get a little hot an bothered from your talk. Hey, it's about time for another forum couple
Early to bed, early to rise? Oh dear. Lol Yeah, OK, this is going to be a situation. I'm a night owl and like sleeping in until 9. Lol I do admire your discipline, though, I gotta say. YOU got a little bothered? lol Well, I didn't want to cause trouble. I debated truly starting a GQ/DB thread. LOL Time for another forum couple, eh? well,we are already engaged, planning to honeymoon in Paris and go on safari... LOL I guess that qualifies! Hahaha
Hey I can make compromises, I'm not an inflexible individual. Besides I will have to if we are going to have "all night long sex" Yep we have it mapped out babe, honeymoon in Paris and then an African Safari, 2 kids (1 boy, 1 girl), white picket fence house and family vacations to different parts of the world. We'll be World Travelers with our kids.
I dunno how I missed this earlier! GQ...I suppose I can drop my no children rule....ours would just be too cute for words! And don't worry, darling. I plan to keep you up many nights...*looks around*.. debating politics, of course. lol Ahh, married bliss. :-D
Hey, politics can be riveting...getting the blood pumping, passions flaring.. Yeah, I have a thing about the crazy 'worship the children' culture we've got going on. That, and pregnancy freaks me out. If you really think about it- it's kind of creepy (and have you SEEN those 3D ultrasounds? They are rather disturbing..). lol But, really, a lot of it comes from the fact that I refuse to be a pushover helicopter parent. IF I do end up having kids, I'm NOT going to be a single mom, so the man has to be all in...that kid isn't seeing a smart phone until they have a job...mouthing off is not going to be tolerated like it is by a lot of parents today....I'd be their parent- not their best friend- that's not my job...keeping their behinds off the pole and out of rehab IS...etc. etc. After teaching, I have a whole list. lol BUT, so many people I say this to think I'm just planning to be one wenchy dictator. Ah well, maybe I am. Who knows? lol I just know what I went through as a teacher, and that a lot of parents aren't interested in actually parenting... so, I'd do my damnest to make sure that didn't happen.
:smt023 My woman indeed. :smt008 I'm a stickler for accountability, respect and discipline. In today's society kids have so much outside influence that shapes them that it is scary at times what they are exposed to from an early age. I'm a no nonsense individual so any kids of mine will be focused on education and becoming a well rounded individual, culturally aware of the world and respectful of others. On your 1st point, I think motherhood is a beautiful thing to see develop, very intense to watch life develop in a woman culminating in a little infant. I wouldn't fault any woman for making sure the man is all in when it comes to pregnancy.
This! I'm right there with you on this. And..well, I am a strange bird when it comes to the pregnancy thing. For many years I've always been kind of freaked out by it. I figure, if the time comes for me, I'll deal with it...besides, nausea is all part of the deal, so not much would change. LOL
