I think it's interesting that they want Batman to be physically bigger than Superman. In a lot of the comics and animated shows, Superman is portrayed as being the bigger one.

It's an interesting dynamic to be sure. Bats being darker, grimmer, bigger and visually more imposing while Supes is brighter, friendlier, and smaller looking but infinitely more powerful.

I kind of like it. It adds something new to the age old Batman Vs. Superman mythos.

It isn't interesting Ben affleck is 6'4(some where around there) and the other dude is like 6'0 ....

It is just bad casting. The previous batman would have been a better selection since he is as tall as Henry.

That being said. I'm really going to see the fight.

I really like the fact that we have a Batman that actually looks like he could kick major ass without all the "hockey pads." ...lol This is finally the Batman from the comics. A straight up beast.

But it isn't really about what their real life proportions are. After all, In The Dark Knight Rises, they made 5'9 Tom Hardy look just as big as 6'0 Christian Bale.

If they wanted to, they could have Superman look bigger than Batman.
The costume designer implies that they are accentuating Batman's larger size on purpose.

It is about their height because it makes it harder for them to make the movie. You can't have the usual fight scenes because you have to make the bad guy look as tall or taller so that he is intimidating. The bane vs batman fight is a good example of it. They had to film at different angles to make bane look as tall as batman when in comics bane towers over even superman and is a mountain of a man.

neo vs smith in the matrix is wonderful. You don't have to worry about doing it at different angles because they are basically the same height. There is just more freedom to do more fight scenes.

FYI : Carrie Ann Moss's character, Jeri Hogarth, is not only a male in comics but also the lawyer who works for Danny Rand aka Iron Fist as well as handled all the legal issues for Rand and Luke Cage during their Heroes for Hire partnership.

Ugh, let it die. The original KK vs godzilla was complete bs. This wont be any different. King kong is an overgrown ape, godzilla is a mutated dino-monster.

No one cares about kaiju anymore anyways, and both the remakes did horribly iirc, so this will no doubt be a bad film.

As I recall, King Kong vs. Godzilla, Godzilla represented the Japanese and Kong represented something akin to the"ugly American." If you look at Kong's costume it shows(Kong looked better in King Kong Escapes, which was inspired by the animated cartoon from the 1960's. The new Godzilla stands at 350 feet tall, while the new Kong stands at 25 feet tall. I was curious about how Kong grew to Godzilla's height and acquires strength through electricity in the 1962 film. I would be curious how they will explain that when the film comes out.

Sounds as if they are setting up everything in the Godzilla 2014 Universe which includes intro of new as well as old giant monsters, so I'd guess that the Kong that gets introduced in the Skull Island movie is some new gigantic and possibly mutant form of ape, rather than the "original" 25 feet gorilla. That's the only way they could reasonably do it IMO.
