Texas Executes Innocent Man

    Just pure fucking evil.
    I'm almost to the point where I'm opposed to the death penalty on principle.
    You just can't tolerate mistakes like this.

    It's not 'okay' to execute the WRONG MAN for a crime he didn't commit.

    I am strongly opposed to the death penalty for this reason. Mistakes can't be corrected after someone is incorrectly put to death. Look how many years it took to get someone to even look at this evidence.

    A few years ago Texas paid a bunch of inmates who were wrongly convicted, settlements based on how long they served for crimes not committed. I wonder if they will make some settlement with this man's family. Not that it will take the place of having him here but sometimes hurting them in the money is the only way changes comes about.

    This is tragic that someone had to die because Texas Justice did not convict the real criminal. Don't someone wished prosecuters get disbarred like Mike Nifong in Durham,NC for convicting and excecuting innocent individuals?

    The sad thing is the State of Texas couldn't care less.
