I think more than the dreads is the fact he smokes Swishers period. I mean SWISHERS. I've NEVER seen someone smoke a Swisher right out of the package.

I don't know about the rest of the country, but in California, it's easy to have access to good weed so most people cut the Swishers down the middle and dump out the tobacco so we can roll up our weed. Swishers make good blunts. No wonder why people think he smokes the "Bob Marley".

Well then, you can come by my place to weep together and make each other feel better by smoking like a chain reactor: from the 1st of July 2008 smoking will be forbidden in bars and restaurants in RO. :?

Whoa, the two most beautiful Romanian girls smoke??? :(

Wow, Joliemarie, you do sound angry...sounds like some of those ppl who try to make smokers feel guilty have entered your head a little bit, whether you would admit it or not!!

Well, I am no moralist, no vegan, no man who only eats organic food, BUT...
I really don't understand why you would ENCOURAGE ppl to smoke...

Not discouraging them, I can understand that...but ENCOURAGE??? And why would you stop smoking if you are pregant or breastfeeding??? you would miss and opportunity to start ENCOURAGING your kids while they're still in your womb!!!

Smoking tobacco, according to me is one of the most stupid things to do on this stupid earth...at least Marijuana gives you a creative high...not yellow teeth, terrible breath and a craving that sticks like super glue...tobacco is crap!

Yes, I lost a loved one to cancer and I am angry too!!! :)

    Alright Jolie demoiselle...

Kiss and make up? I don't know about the making up but I'll take the kiss :)

It is good every now and then to take ppl literally, so they can explain themselves more clearly...which is what u did, and I understand u better!!

Indeed, children in a womb do not have much choice...and I agree with the "adults mke their own decision"

Now, I agree with you that any abuse can kill you, even abusing things that normally aren't toxic!! Like Mc Donald's food...

Cigarette is toxic...whether you abuse it or not...that's why I think it's such a terrible thing!

I will NEVER harass a smoker...but if asked for my opinion though, I will always tell ppl how horrible I think it is to smoke!

I agree smokers do catch a lot of flack but in my opinion that has a reason, if it wasn't for the constant bickering of non-smokers we would not have the measures in place as we have today protecting non-smokers from 2nd hand smoke. I personally think the majority of smokers simply don't get the fact that they cause harm to others and not just to oneself. It took all these laws and ordinances to stop them and gain a bit of common sense and consideration for others. In the 70s people smoked inside, in the office etc. if it wasn't for the constant bickering this would still go on today. My Mom smokes, so does my Grandma and they simply don't get it. Germany just now passed anti smoking laws and their stubborness is only outdone by their ignorance to the dangers of smoking (hate to say it, I love them).

As far as the argument that unhealthy eaters etc. aren't haggled, well as unfortunate as it is for someone to be unhealthy (overweight, bulimic etc., diabetic, sun tanned to the point where cancer will eventually make an appearance). The difference is that those people do not affect other people's health. They do affect other people's pockets due to the rise in health care costs and expenses but not their health.

Lastly, and this is not a jab against any smoker on this site, just my very very personal opinion. Smoking men and women look disgusting. To me there is not much more ugly than seeing a beutiful women smoke

Jolie I agree with you to a certain extend, there are many smokers who are considerate but not the majority of them. I also have to continue to question whether the ones that are considerate nowadays have reached that point out of their own consideration or simply because they are being confronted all the time. I am not saying all smokers are inconsiderate but I am saying most.

I simply don't want to compare smoking to any other of the vices out there, in my opinion it doesn't make any sense whatsoever. It's a diversion tactic smokers use over and over again.
I don't compare my weight issues to health issues others have, that is my own personal choice, problem and result of my actions. It won't be negated by the fact that someone else does the same or worse.

Here is what I would like for smokers to do, out of their own will, without being told or mandated by laws and city ordinance:
    - Do not ever smoke around children (cars, apartment etc.)
    - Do not smoke in restaurants, bars and clubs and expose others (especially staff) to 2nd hand smoke. While I can choose whether or not I want to go to a bar that allows smoking the staff may not.
    - Do not smoke in offices or other closed buildings unless there is a smokers lounge with proper ventilation system so that non smokers are not exposed to 2nd hand smoke.
    - when you are asked to smoke outside do not smoke and congregate right at the entrance of the building. We have that situation at my office and it makes me sick. So I get to work at 8:30 AM and have to wade through a pool of smoke and smokers. Yuck

Sorry Jolie this is truly nothing personal I just completely despise smoking and everything that comes with it.

This has more to do with the cost factors. There have been studies showing that it is much more costly to companies to have smokers employed...even if they are NOT smoking at work. More time taken off, illnesses, health issues, higher insurance premiums, and so on.

You are probably aware that there is a movement to ban smoking from apartments, condos, 1/2 plexes and so on...any dwelling that is connected to another. Also rental single family residences.

I'm an non-smoker. I don't care if someone else wants to smoke...just don't do it around me or my children.

I'm sure you know that the quote about them coming for this and that is a very old one with other specifics involved that has been adapted to current pop culture.
