Robin Williams was in the film Moscow On The Hudson as a Russian defector, he nailed that role and I really felt his struggle from visiting a grocery store to buy coffee instead of standing in the long lines outside in the cold. Or connecting with his jazz hero onstage(I think it was Coleman Hawkins. Although, he played with him, he felt he could not keep up with him). He went through a lot and survived. The scene where he and Ernie Hudson are on the subway train and Ernie is trying to teach Robin's character how to look tough, or the scene with the man following him with interest: Vladimir-"KGB?" The man shakes his head. Vladimir-"CIA?" The man shakes his head. Vladimir-"FBI?" The man smiles, shakes his head. "No. G.A.Y." Classic. Then he did a film called Being Human in which he plays a man in the Middle Ages who encounters a black woman. He decides to be with her, It was a rather sweet scene. And then there was What Dreams May Come. It was author Richard Matheson's favorite film adaptation.
A lot of the religious believe suicide is a direct ticket to Hell. They believe that those who contemplate suicide need Jesus in their lives. Shephard Smith is one of these who believe that sentiment. But there are those who (like covert operatives held hostage and the like) who are ordered to take their own lives to protect secrets from enemies. It is considered noble to do it. Noone argues about that. A lot of celebrities have took their own lives. Noone called them cowards. They were called tragedies. I cannot call a person who takes their own life a coward. It takes one to know one.
Yes I'm bashing WOMEN since ALL WOMEN do this right? Your myopic childish tantrums never cease to amaze me. And no one does know why but like every other fucking thing in the world we speculate based on the information given so if I want to speculate that's my business. And funny enough you come at me and not the person who actually provided the theory in the first place. We can ignore each other no love lost. Carry on
My original post was directed at no one in particular, but you took it upon yourself to answer it. And thanks to the rep I got on that post, I know that I'm not the only one who felt that the thread had potential for going in that direction. I have been ignoring you, as much as I can, and will continue to do so.
And my reply was directed at someone in particular but as usual anything said about a woman right or wrong is woman bashing. Well let's continue to ignore each other shall we.
smh......derailing the thread. anyway, fox news should be ashamed of themselves. good thing is he apologize but i dont think he means it.
SERIOUSLY??? LET'S STICK TO THE DAMN TOPIC. A great actor is dead and it should be about that and not whether all women are gold diggers or all men are dogs
It is just the pressure from these women and the tv show cancellation was the last straw. Saw a photo of him and a fan taken miles outside the rehab center. He was in pain. It was on the cover of the NY Post.
This is disgusting. I just read the story about it. What is in some peoples' brains that think it's okay to do what they did? I'm so embarrassed to be a part of this "civilized" society. Fuck cyber bullies. Here's the story: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2014/08/13/zelda-williams-quits-twitter-robin_n_5674501.html The internet is a wonderful thing, isn't it? It seems to bring out the "best" in people. I wish common decency would come back.
You bet they will. They will hide behind the keyboard and the First Amendment right of free speech. Very convenient. smh
