Unemployment is at 4.5%. Furthermore, why is everyone on the left ignoring the plight of their most loyal voting block, African Americans? They keep trying to pander the the white working class, when there's many more black/Hispanic working folks.

Why doesn't Chris Hayes do a townhall in large black cities?

People in coal country lose jobs and drug use in their communities skyrocket. The response? We need to help these people. Get them treatment. It's not their fault. It's their economic situation.

People in the inner city can't get jobs and drug use in their communities skyrocket. What's the response? Well, it's their culture. They need tougher law enforcement. Those people did it to themselves. Why should my tax dollars go to helping a bunch drug addicts?

Can you guess what the difference is between these two groups of Americans?

Fuck 'em until my people get the same compassion.

They should compare Trump's favorable rating to other first term POTUSes at the same time in their respective administrations.

I don't know why people keep trying to put HRC in the middle of Trumpalalooza.

Wait until Trump and the GOP dismantle the ACA, then let's see how people feel about Trump.

"BTW I would suggest everyone to watch The Rachel Maddow show religiously over the next several months. She IMO is this generations' Woodward and Bernstein and is ahead of the news curve on the Trump debacle."

Watch Rachel for the next several months...not just yesterday.

Even despite the anticlimactic tax return reveal last night, she's ahead of the curve IMO on Trump's Russia ties.

Lol not sure why it came up...maybe you watch a lot of videos beyond the Liberal echo-chamber?

That POV she outlines has been circulating for a few years and l believe has even been discussed here - well, the concept that "WW get paid greeeeeaaaat (but Black men don't.)" Whatever.

It makes sense that women invariably choose professions that pay less because we are sublimally discouraged from pursuing math and science interests in school, which we know are the highest paying jobs out of school.
Throw in the part-time dynamic as well as child-bearing priorities, and the iincome inequities pile up.

Obama paid his female employees less than his males...but again it turns out that the women he hired occupied the lowest paying positions while the men occupied ones that paid more. That's where the true inequities lie, IMO. The pay issue is a symptomatic of that.

    What about you?

Also in Al Capone's vault? The evidence of wiretapping that Trump was supposed to produce three days ago. If that's anywhere near Mar a lago he can look for it this weekend!

Exactly. A 4-4 split means that the lower court's ruling stays in place.

This week was the 1st time I ever listened to Conservative argument that the female wage gap is a myth. They made some great arguments, that folks do overlook. For example, I've noticed the stereotypical feminist/SJW you see online is usually college-educated, but they usually have some worthless degree in something like "Gender Studies".

Dyed-in-the-wool Repubs? Perhaps. And understandably so - status-quo rockers are always challenged.
