Good luck sweety. I don't say prayers but have enough faith in the American medical system to render a successful operation.
It's not too late if you think you'd like to go the officer route. I don't think you were digging that scenario before, but now you're starting to see the advantages of it first hand. Sometimes that's what it takes. You're not a dumb kid, so I'd give it some thought or something else equally fitting. You're young, you put in your time, now it's up to you to decide where to go from here. There's no shame in living home with your parents either while you figure shit out. Believe me I wish I could. Plus you're entitled to gi bill money, so that should help offset some loans. Or you could go career and knockout that cpl/sgt test shit. You can look at warrant officer stuff also.
I'm trying to get my BA while I'm in. If I don't stay in, I'll go for my Masters when I get out. Or I'll get it while I'm in, if I stay in since you need one to make CW4 n' shit(assuming that I go warrant). I don't wanna stay in intel though if I do re-enlist. Only way I'll re-enlist is if I can re-class or choose my next duty station. It would be badass to retire at 41 though. My CW2 makes 90,000 and he's been in 11 years. One of my Cpts. makes like 116,000 and he's been in about 6 years. SFCs make like 78,000 a year at like 10 years. The pay chart make it look good.
LS, I am a gifted wordsmith but lack the language to adequately express your strength and intelligence. Thanks. ---- Tarsh, nonsense and you know it. That's all I have to say about that.
LoL, this place is a trip!! There was a count down for Olsen twins to turn 18, then for Miley Cyrus, then for Palin daughter, now for member of this forum, damn, WW must be hard to come by where y’al live, LMFAO.
yeah it's not just the rank but the time-in that really matters. If you're Cpt's been in the service for a long time, it's not hard to believe that he makes good money.:smt112 As long as you have a solid outline for yourself, that's what matters, all bullshit aside. :smt023
