LOL! Your parents sound like a lot of fun, but I know it's YOUR parents so you see them as embarrassing.

My pops is a singer and he's broken out in song at the doctors office and other places, thank God I wasn't there. I would've died right then and there...

I remember one time, we went to a murder mystery dinner. The host was trying to get my pops to participate. He wasn't feeling well and not in the mood. She kept trying to get him to join. Pops snapped at her in front of the whole place. I wanted to hide under the table.
:smt043:smt043:smt043I know the feeling of watching a parent snap on somebody. My mom has done that to so many Wal-Mart cashiers for ringing up the wrong price.....while I've been there. And this has happened like 15 times, literally and would hold up customer service for close to an hour an many occasions. She's actually had the nerve to play the race card. Luckily, she's been banned from every Wal-Mart in California for causing so much shit. She tried to play it off like "They just lost a customer". She actually had to get dragged outta Wal-Mart by security one time because she was harassing the cashier so much. By some lucky chance, I wasn't there. I swear to whatever higher power that if I was there, I would've got in the car and drove off. :smt011

My dad is the cool one. My mom? Hell naw. Only similarity with my mom I'll admit to is our taste in music, cause I grew up on what she grew up on.

Damn Moms! LOL

Moms is like, fuck, I want my rollbacks bitches!

Thats cute....lol

I wonder if that would work with a dude...lol

He was drop dead gorgeous.....:p

Dudes will be more gullible, way more lol. It sounds elementary/flakey, but I bet if you tried it, executed it half way decently, you would be knee deep in fine brotha:smt072Got em' lol

My parents both embarrass me. My pops talks to everyone and makes friends everywhere he goes. He has to crack a joke with everyone and give out his business card. I'm like I don't know this man....lol

My parents are like a box a chocolates when it comes to embarrassment, I never know what I'm going to get....

HAHA, sounds like my dad - he would talk to anything that had a heartbeat.. mostly on purpose to embarrass us. One tome at a cross walk, he rolled down the window and shook this huge salami we just bought and shook it at this lady crossing the road... not because he was mad, he just thought it was funny.
Another time, we had my brothers steering wheel in his car for some reason I don't remember. For some reason my dad thought it would be a good idea to wave at the cop car we passed on the highway - with the steering wheel... Yes, we got stopped and the cops did not share my dads enthusiasm over the incidents "funniness". I have 100s of these stories. My friends and siblings friend thought it was hilarious when our dad on purpose embarrassed us in front of them... they were dying.

I wasn't raised by my dad but I did see him every now and then and when I moved out of my home at 15, I did see him very regularly.

No I look back at those moments and think it was pretty damn funny, not so much at the time.

You mean him be knee deep in me....lol Let me stop...

Okay, Freshie, I would make a bet that I'd do it, but last bet I made, which was back in the day, I chickened out, (I had to talk like a Valley White Girl to a gangsta dude). I started to, but I couldn't finish it. I started crackin up. My friend did her side.

A lot of times, being cutesy and goofy does work...lol

LOL!!!!!!!! Pops sounds like a riot

My father cracks jokes at the most inopportune time. My cousin was getting married and her ceremony was in the patio area of this hotel. My parents and I were late, so we stayed inside in the lobby area. Pops was crackin jokes about the wedding. He had me and my mother dying laughing, but we looked so disrespectful, because we were in front of everyone (they could see us through the glass). My sister later told me she fell asleep sitting out there, so I'm glad I was inside having fun, but too bad we looked like disrespectful assholes....lol

Your dad is badass. That's the shit. Sounds like something my friends and I would do.

Speaking of doing dumb shit in cars, sometimes, when we're driving down the street where the hookers dwell, my friends stick their head out the window and go "HOW MUCH?!?! YOU LOVE ME LONG TIME?!?!"

HAHAHA - My dad would have laughed at that story... he never grew up - he got a kick out of stuff like that.
He would walk into a dress store and ask for bakery, or just stand and stare at a crack in a wall.. to then walk away to see if people would walk up and check out what he was looking at... Random stuff like that - good example he was LOL.

He wasnt a normal dad in any sense...
A merchant marine a flat race jockey.... random and impulsive. Always entertaining.

That stuff to go into a store and ask for something they clearly didnt have being all dead serious was his trade mark - it used to cunfuse the hell out of the clerks.. he was THE deadpan.

When I was in my early 20s and had parties at my place, my friends ALWAYS asked if he was stopping by - He was the center of attention at my parties and always knew when it was time to leave us youngins to continue partying so he never looked like he was trying to hard or trying to check us.

Cool dad indeed.
