I miss all y'all too!

Thank you Jordan for pointing these out to me, it's rude to ignore folks, but I hadn't seen most of these posts. I do still check the forum, but honestly it's hard to read and not reply, so I've been reading less and less each day.

I love most of y'all here, but the forum atmosphere overall has changed since I joined, and I just feel that if I can't add something positive then I need to keep my mouth shut. Were I posting, much of what I would post would amount to nothing more than arguing with people, so I'm just confining my opinions to rep for now. We seem to have lost some notable members lately, at least several of the people who I personally enjoy have not been posting much lately, if at all, and I do think that it affects the forum as a whole when we lose balanced people with valuable insight... Karma, Smooth, Christine, Loki, Kimbo to name but a few. But I see some veterans returning... Intrigued, Athena, Curley, Mama, Jaisee... and they help to balance things back out.

We also have a number of new people, and hopefully they'll find a home here and contribute in positive ways, sadly some clearly are not going to do that and it's those people that I have an issue with. My personality is such that I will not make even the barest attempt to be pleasant to people who are unpleasant towards people I care about, regardless of how pleasant they are to me. I detest bullies, and people who play passive-aggressive games, online and off, I simply have no use and no patience for those types, and unfortunately we have a few of those types here at the moment. I think it's just part of the ebb and flow around here, so right now I'm just going to continue to hold my tongue and keep my non-PC opinions to myself. Those who know me know that I'm a fan of speaking your mind, and I do that frequently, however I always strive to do so in the least offensive manner possible because I see no value to upsetting, hurting, or generally pissing people off for sport. I think highly of many of you and the last thing I'd want to do is offend you intentionally, so I'm just going to stick with 'if you can't say something nice, don't say nothin' at all'. Doesn't mean I don't love and miss you guys though.

i completely understand where you are coming from...and have often thought of giving it a rest around here as well. the aggression (especially towards women) is over the top and i'm so tired of the generalisations. if it weren't for the few who still brighten this place with their wit, intelligence, fun & sexiness, i certainly would. this place needs you back ms espy...can't put it simpler than that...!!!

I definitely don't. I think that a lot of men have disagrred with women but let's say you're a little bit right. The woman praising is always 100 times more frequent.
