I know this is weird but masturbating actually helps.

It's not all that weird an idea, because it actually makes sense. The difficult part is being in the mood to do it when you're in pain. Definitely worth a try though. Thanks, Stizzy.

I know a lot of people use neti pots. I've never tried them but it might be worth a shot if you can't do meds.

I saw it. I just prefer to harass you for being old :)

Steam bath preferably with mint it opens up the sinuses very well. I hate meds so try to find natural solutions

Great ideas, thanks. I'd forgotten about neti pots; I've heard a lot of good things about them though. I defintely prefer the natural route if possible. I don't like how the meds affect me; I seem to be super sensitive to a lot of them.

Does anyone use any type of home remedies for sinus headaches?

I can't take sinus/decongestant meds without them knocking me out (even the supposedly non-drowsy kind) and making it hard to fucntion for a day or two after taking them.

Nice hot steamy shower and eucalyptus...not only does it loosen everything up but you will be able to breathe again...if possible go lay down for a 20 minute nap...headache gone!

Tam, please don't use tap water with Neti pots, only distilled. WASH thoroughly as bacteria gets into it, as well as the water. Reason is, you can catch a brain-eating amoeba called Naegleria fowleri. While rare, it has claimed several hundred lives.

Thanks, Lippy. Sounds awesome.

Thanks, Bliss, but no worries. I'd be afraid to trust tap water for something like that. I'm especially leery of the local water supply; I don't drink it or cook with it either.

I like this. Lippy, how do you use the eucalyptus? In what form?

I have these shower sprays in peppermint , eucalyptus and lavender ...just spritz them into the steam ...peppermint wakes me up...lavender calms me...eucalyptus is great for congestion or when you aren't feeling well

I saw that movie in the theater again yesterday...after halftime of the Bears game.

Love it!! I can't wait for mid-November for the Blu-Ray release.
