When you are trying to walk to the door of opportunity, you notice how people will refuse to give you a shot and the ones that will are going to be a drag.
I was with a small group of friends discussing the tragedy, and one of the ladies said that when her son saw the pic of the guns used in the horror he was able to rattle off the name of each of the weapons. We are a country where guns are banned so this was rather scary to hear.
I agree, I asked how he would know and the reality of it is that they talk about guns etc so much in movies and games these days (more then I realised) that children tend to just learn from there. Makes me sad.
Exactly Tarshi. Children know to much too soon these days. I was watching my 6 year old nephew the other day and he was able to tell me all about different war things that I wouldn't have had any idea about at his age. Next he will be the boy able to rattle off the types of sniper guns etc too. His parents are quite gaurded but they learn from friends and other methods out of their parents control sometimes. I just want to give him fairy floss and go on merry go rounds etc and wipe his mind clean of this war stuff.
.........This is a very chilling visual right now.......Adam's farther said he was a bright, curious loner as a kid............... Put the Damn gun down kid !!....go write a lovenote to Tiffany..........
I was in the middle of the Scotch section of the liquor store and the clerk thinks I was looking for Hennessy really?? What liquior store sell cognac in the middle of the scotch section? Some people seem totally taken by stereotypes.
I like Google and all the things it's been doing. But for some reason, it seems like the SafeSearch is ALWAYS on whenever I'm looking for pictures of some of the sexually enticing women that tickle my interest at that moment. Come on Google, at least keep the meter going so I can have NO filtered content whenever I'm browsing around for photos. :smt076
I want to see The Hobbit, I want to see Star Trek: Into Darkness, and come home with a fangirl smile in my face. Maybe I should vlog about it...?
