LOL Boy that brings back memories. I use to do the samething on the day of my field trips when I was a kid. So much excitement, I couldn't control myself. Btw Your daughter and her partner did a great job on their art project.:smt023
I realize that this is not summer yet here in NY, but I'm starting to get concerned with how warm it's becoming.... I might actually melt into a puddle of stinky muggy smog. :smt048
Thank you!! Ah yes, I can hear Sting in there, too. Eh, I'm partial to Chicago's skyline. Great photo though, Athena!
My daughter wants to go to NY very badly. She's obsessed with seeing The Statue of Liberty. I told her that I wasn't going to NY alone with her. That city would eat us alive. LOL. Eventually we'll get there on vacation!
Not at all, you'd have a great time. Just a little pricey but so worth it especially during the summer and Christmas time. Nothing beats that tree in Rockefeller Center. You might even catch my black ass ice skating this year. This chick has me all messed up in the head lol
COsign this,,,, Bookie there is so much I think she would love to do and see.... Definately plan a vacation there, and if you can staying in Times Square is simply perfect for a vacation location.
LOL TDK! That's a good thing, though. :smt023 I will take her there when I have more than one adult going. LOL. I can't make it through that city on my own. For real. I have a hard enough time in Chicago and I've visited and even worked in the city for years.
As much of a photographer as she is a physician, Lady Athena has the magic of bringing us right there with her choice photos.... a panoramic view of New York City over the Hudson river.....
I am honestly directionally impaired. I really almost never know the direction I'm traveling. LOL. My brother tells me all the time, "just look at the sun!!". I tell him, that means nothing to me. (It really doesn't. I cannot tell the direction (unless the sun is actually rising or setting) by looking at the sun. LOL. I'm terrible!
It's tough to even see direct sun in NY with all the tall buildings. I rely heavily on my phone compass, especially as I just come out of the underground train stations. Helps me get oriented and saves a lot of backtracking lol.
The first thing jumping into my mind when I saw this pic is: "Your Mother was a hamster and your father smells of elderberries"
Anyone else getting a notification on youtube that basically says "update your internet browser" ? Cuz I don't know what's available as an update, and more questionalbly....why are they trying to no longer support Internet Explorer 7? seriously...SMH.
