And Elba is one of the most respected and acclaimed actors in the U.K. lots of older actresses like Helen Mirren admire Idris Elba. It's not surprising that Madonna would admire him. Madonna was older than Sean Penn when they met. Warren Beatty was older than her when they met(the only older man she had ever dated publicly). Then came her fling with Jose Canseco(whom personally trained her for her role in the film A League Of Their Own) and Dennis Rodman. She was older than Guy Ritchie when they were married.
