So in other words white and East Asian men want that .7 and .6 WTH ratio from the front. In African men they place more emphasis on the WTH from the profile. White people on average are built more stocky and Asians are built even more stocky. Why because they evolved in a cold climate where have some extra meat on the bones would keep them warmer. Africans evolved in hot areas where a slim body with long arms and legs would have been better to help dissipate heat. So having fat would be a disadvantage, but women still have to maintain 15-20% body fat to keep a menstrual cycle. So storing fat in the butt would be way for a black woman to still be fertile. This is what black men have evolved to look for in their women.

It's true that some people are genetically predisposed to build muscle faster or larger than others. However, I still believe if you take someone with a flat butt who doesn't workout, then they start doing specific workouts that target the glutes, they will increase in size. If they happen to manage to also gain some body fat, though that does increase all over, that will further enhance that area. Everyone can build muscle, some build it faster and larger than others, but everyone can build muscle. Look at gymnasts for instance, do you think every female gymnast would have the glute development they have if they weren't gymnasts, I sincerely doubt it. It's the amount of glute building work they do.

There's more to it than that. To achieve maximum muscle development requires more of a nutritional component for some people than it does for others. Like I said some people build muscle easier than others, for some they have to really watch their intake of protein, etc. to achieve the maximum results. In my experience most of the women I know who go to the gym regularly pay very little attention to nutrition, beyond basic calorie counting. I suspect they'd have much more impressive results if they took a more well-rounded, no pun intended, approach. I'm a WW, I'm pretty attentive to what I put in my body, and I build muscle easily, particularly from the waist down. I suspect I have greater success because of both how I workout and how I eat.

I get that there is a limit to what can be achieved. However, I think just about anyone can get a nice round butt with the right combination of work and nutrition.
