Wow! I didn't know about how they designed the house and all that.

I keep hearing stories about how he went to "treatment". He didn't go to treatment. First, there is no successful treatment for molestation. But his "treatment" was spending some time doing manual labor with someone they knew from the church and had some sort of church counseling that they were very evasive about.

I go back to what Satchmo was saying. Why are there still little kids in these people's custody (Josh's kids and his parents little ones)?

BTW if anybody is actually lending credence to the notion that what happened wasn't so bad because of his age, this is how juvenile sex offenders who don't have politically connected parents typically go through the system:

The same people who are trying to give Josh Duggar a pass for molesting a bunch of little girls have no problem with 12, 13, 14 or 15-year-old black boys being tried as a adults and having the book thrown at them.

Frankly, I don't believe the framing of this story on the Duggars part at all. There's no way in hell that kid voluntarily confessed that he was molesting his sisters and other underage girls. He most likely got caught in the act by a third party. I also don't by that this was limited to touching on top of the girls' clothing.

    Not really.

They put Dog the Bounty Hunter back on air after his racist rant.

We live in the United States of Amnesia....the average American can't remember jack shit from last year unless you remind them.

Being an a-hole racist is VERY different than being from an actual child molestor.

    They tolerate Lena Dunham.

Mofos made it a point of her self admitting molestation of her sister when I post her pics in the Men Lockers forum.

Remember......the laws are different for whites in America, especially white men.

Don't be surprised to see Jared get a slap on the wrist and light sentence for this.

I don't condone what Lena Dunham did to her sister at all, but I would think that if there was something illegal happening, not only would her legal team not allow her to put it in a book, but she would have been brought up on charges.

I'm highly disgusted to think that YOU think because Jared is white that nothing will happen to him. That is some seriously vile thinking and completely untrue.

I don't think Lena Dunhman's lawyer(s) had much of anything to do with her book. She implied a man raped her and ruined his life and she admitted to touching her sister. I'm sure the publisher wanted to publish that information as it would equal more sales but any decent lawyer would not let that information go through.

Plus, I'm not sure what you're "highly disgusted" about. He has his opinion, you have yours. I hope the legal system reacts appropriately to Jared but lets not get it twisted. The legal system clearly is much more aggressive towards men in general and african americans. I don't think I need to offer any evidence of how the legal system sometimes unfairly responds to african americans and you can look at any family court and divorce court to see how a man gets fucked over time and time again. But like I said, we all have our own opinions.

So, he outright states that whites have a different legal system in this country and heavily implies that because Jared Fogle is a white man he will get a slap on the wrist for child pornography and having sex with minors?

That is vile and disgusting thinking in my book. And it's NOT a "difference of opinion".

Basically you're cosigning the idea that white men can just go around molesting children and looking at child pornography and get away with it with a slap on the wrist???

That's disgusting thinking and THAT thinking needs to change.

Do all white people get a pass? No.

If you get targeted in a federal investigation kiddie porn charges, you're likely going down no matter who you are.

However, it's fucking ridiculous to pretend that everybody is treated equally in the criminal justice system. People who are rich and connected aren't subjected to the same "justice" as people who are poor and disenfranchised. If you think that notion is "disgusting," then you live in fucking fantasy land.

See the video from my previous post in this thread. Josh Duggar's family used their political connections to shield him from any serious investigation of his behavior. The fact is that he was a serial molester, and he was allowed to go about his life without being punished because his daddy had a lot of powerful friends in the state government. Juvenile offenders who do the same in Arkansas and several other states are generally sentenced to adult custodial sentences and have to register as sex offenders for life when they finish their sentences.

RE the Ashley Madison hack, that's the least offensive part of this ordeal. Anybody who believes that these moralizing, right wing Christian nutjobs are actually faithful to their wives is even more naive than a person who thinks that everybody is treated equally in the criminal justice system.

When I said I was "disgusted" by his thinking, I was responding DIRECTLY to the quote above yours.

    Nothing more.

I do not disagree with the notion that many rich and connected people get preferential treatment in our judicial system. THAT is disgusting.

But, let's clear the air, that my original post was about Jared Fogle and NO ONE ELSE. His notion that Jared Fogle would get a "slap on the wrist" is what disgusted me. Nothing more.

Lena was seven years old if that.

Why not stick with the facts and what people ACTUALLY said in stead of what you feelz was said. In addition...You could be disgusted all you want because someone has a different opinion than you...I'm not sure who besides you would care though.

Statistically speaking, men and minorities get longer/more-severe sentences for the same crimes committed by women and whites. This is fact.
What ever happens to Jared's ass, I could care less. He committed a crime, he admitted to it, he should be dealt with accordingly.

You may be disgusted by his insinuation Books, but he is not too far from the truth on Jared..

"Even though Jared Fogle will be going to prison, he appears to have cut quite a deal for himself. Fogle is likely to spent far less time behind bars than the average child pornography convict.

Although the terms are still being ironed out, Fogle will likely receive a sentence of between five years and 12 years, and while that may seem like considerable prison time, it is well below the average sentence for someone who did what he did."
