I used to work in a record store back in my early 20's. 3/4 of my co-workers were musicians or songwriters of some type and we'd all exchange tapes of our own creations. I said all that to say that I'm into music by unsigned artists so if you have anything posted on a website, point me in that direction.

some of my coworkers are guitarists, who used to play in local bands. Nothing big time. They kept talking about playing their bass and electrics. Shortly after, I bought my blue and white (because every penn stater represents the blue and white :p ) electric, and started joining in on their conversations.

I'm starting old, but I like new challenges.

I used to love those conversations. My former colleagues weren't big time either but a couple of them were incredible musicians. It was hard letting them hear a novice player like myself on tape but they were always encouraging. I miss those conversations. Those were the days. I still have quite a few of those tapes we exchanged as well.

Anyway Petty, if you've recorded anything, I'd love to listen. The genre of music doesn't matter to me. I'm just getting back into recording after a 3 year absense so I'll reciprocate.

There are people in some countries (e.g. India) who aren't able to eat at all...because they either have lost their right hand, or they can't co-ordinate their right hand...and it is evil to use their left hand (as it's associated with dirt). Madness!

    I'm a righty though.

I was listening to a programme on the radio about hospital services in remote areas of the world (e.g. in Africa they have a train which goes through country regions delivering healthcare). There was a health boat in India (I think) who went to treat a man with a damaged right hand, and he hadn't been able to feed himself in public for years until he got medical treatment, as he wasn't allowed to eat with his left hand...it was considered unclean as that is the hand you use in India when you go to the toilet.

i dont know about ya'll, but i use both hands when going to the toilet..

it's why Buddha created something called Soap

    :p

although some people (docs) can use the head for 20 minutes, and walk right past the sink with a straight face..all the while you're looking at them like "Man that's some funky shit"

they must be using their left hand to wipe their ass....

hell with it, it's dirty anyway...who needs soap!
