    TRUE STORY....happened about 40mins ago.

    My mum and I were walking through a department store and I had just snagged a few bargins. My mum offered to pay for them since they were dirt cheap, which was nice of her, but I joked that she couldn't afford it and she joked that that's why she was buying them so I couldn't complain she didn't do anything for me and she wouldn't have to buy a christmas present.....to which I answered "Cheap arse!".

    It was at this point my mum burst into laughter and then suddenly clutched her face, while her teeth (yup, falsies) went FLYING across the aisle and skidded to a halt in front of some children, one of whom cried loud and clear for everyone to hear "Oh no! Is that that lady's teeth!?!"

    Mum was horrified and so unbelievably embarrassed. She swooped down, grabbed her teeth and went scuttling into the nearest aisle.

    My poor mum, she's recovered from the embarrassment now, but I don't know if she'll ever go back into that store again.
