    Being the mad obsessed dog person that I am, I regularly get a dog magazine and a couple of years ago they stopped calling dog owners 'owners' and now call them 'carers', and they call the dogs companions, not pets.

    Personally, I don't think dogs (or any animals) give a shit what they're called. :smt005
