True, if you're looking for someone to fuck, looks will be a lot more important. If you're putting out boyfriend potential, other things will be a bigger factor. Looks will be a smaller part of the equation.

Many of us got married young and looked past the physical attraction thing. But then I'm seeing many who had a strong physical attraction who got married and split up (maybe they didn't have much other than the physical attraction?) who are then going for other than physical attraction as they get older. Me, I wasn't willing to only get one or the other (BTDT)....I wanted/needed it all.

Oh, I was referring to being with someone who didn't find me physically attractive. There has to be an emotional connection as well and that's important and everything but I need to be with someone who physically wants me. Otherwise, we can just be friends and she can be with someone else she's more attracted to.

 

Theb the money can keep them around a little longer. There are tons of people in relationships that don't want to be in for the sake of having someone, to show other people they have someone, not wanting to be alone, etc. Money is an incentive to stay in a shitty relationship. And when you can fuck around behind that person's back and still stay in that money lifestyle, they win.

 

Different people are motivated by different things. For some, the money will keep them around....they may not fuck around either. For some, the financial security, image, etc is where it's at for them.

 

Agreed. Physical attraction is important to me and I need my man to be attracted to me in that way as well.

Sometimes people end up physically attracted to people they wouldn't typically too.
