Do you prefer your man to be tall or short?

I lust after tall guys. I so wanted to bang this African dude I went on a few dates with. He was 6'4 and so gorgeous. I've always been attracted to tall guys (6'0 and up) mostly because I'm tall for a girl, I guess. I'm 5'8 without shoes, 6'0 with short heels. Let's not get started on stilletos!

However, my boyfriend is 5'5 without shoes. The height thing bothered me slightly when I first met him, but there was just something about him that made me wanna get to know him better. I wouldn't dismiss a man just because he's shorter than me (obviously) because I don't like dismissing people based on physical features in the first place, as long as they got the personality that turns me on.

Besides, I get to snicker and call him "shawty" and it always makes me chuckle when he calls me "lil mama", cause I'm not that "lil" *L*

My preference would be tall guys, but it's about so much more than that.

I'm 6'2" barefoot, and if I decide to wear heels, i'm any where from 6'4"-6'6"...i love the stares me and my sis (she's 6'1" with no shoes) get when we dress up together. it's so much fun! :wink:

Apparently guys love us, though. Did you know that? Man, I was just at Wal-Mart one day and I was wearing my sexy lace-up wedge sandals (definitely put me at about 6 even) and this dude just came up to me and said: "...how tall are you without those shoes on?"

"about 5'8"

"Oh my damn...you like shorter guys?!? You're gorgeous!" with an extremely excited look on his face.

It was hilarious, cause I kept shooting him down and he kept on. *L*

 

lol....yeah, men are hilarious when there are tall chicks around! i love watching how they respond, hahaha! when me and my sis are both together, they really have NO idea how to react...they just kind of stare like "whoa!"...ll

it's funny too, to hear people "whisper", "man, she's tall". i can hear them plain as day when i walk by, but they think they are being discreet. have you every run into that? sometimes, i'll just turn around and smile. it's funny though!

Yes, tall friends are quite easy to spot in a crowd, and being short allows me to zip through crowds alot faster. There are some advantages to being short. But, I think I can count them on one hand! :lol:

 

Depends on what "tall" is and what "short" is.

I think a man that's '5-10" to '6-0" is in a good position...he's not short but he doesn't have any disadvantages to his height....such as trying to fit in a smaller sports car or riding on an airplane etc.

"6-1" and up has many advantages but each inch over starts to bring more negatives into play.

A man that's '5-6" to '5-9" is in a grey zone...(like me) technically you're short but you're still taller than most women (barely)....women that are
'5-6" and date a man that's '5-11" or '6-0" probably like the height difference...she can wear heels...he's reasonably taller but not too tall...of course a lot of '5-1" women don't see the same advantage dating a '5-6" or '5-7" guy :idea:



Honestly...it doesn't matter....I can see myself married to a woman that's five feet tall....or a woman that's six feet or taller....as a short man...I don't feel like I have to "dominate"....I'm perfectly comfortable reaching up to get a kiss :wink:

 

I share your attitude. At 5'2ish and shrinking, I've dated men who were my height and men who were well over a foot taller. Never really mattered much.

that's nice, believable, and a crying-ass shame for the little men, but the fact that this divisive topic has already had threads on it, makes me wonder why no one uses the search function.
