Well on the show when she was asked if she was white she nodded yes. Usually when a person of mixed heritage don't want you to know they have an ethnic race in them, they don't usually date black people.

Plus I failed to mention she tans a lot, if you watch the show her tan is starting to go away and you could see shes actually real light.

 

She looks straight up italian to me...considered white in some circles

She looks like she has a 1/2 black 1/2 white parent, and a fully white parent.

can't remember the last time i asked a girl what her race was (if I like em, i like em..I don't ask too many questions about what race their parents are, etc)..

can't remember the last time someone asked me what I was, either (probably because it's pretty obvious)

This jawn don't look "100% white" to me. She probably might be European but she can't be "white". If she is, then perhaps the one drop rule should become instantly obsolete because i've seen lighter people than this chick who are called "black".

Yeah but a person that has some kind of mix in her (more times females do this.) usually only go by white when they are attracted to white men.

Most that are into the brothas like she is, and have that black or latino in them, they will tell you in a minute.

But like I said before it is possible she could white cause if kim k. and jordana brewster is white and the other girl on there that I thought many thought was latina on there was Hotlanta and she is white too.

 

If we knew where her family was from....it'd make it a lot easier. 30% of white people in the U.S. have a recent black ancestor...but most of them don't know it.......she probably has a couple of black ancestors...and may or may not know it......but based on her last name....Cabrera....she's probably "white" in Latin America and black/Indian/European in the U.S.


U.S. uses the rule of hypodescent = one drop black makes you black

Latin America uses rule of hyperdescent = one drop white makes you white


I think hypo is better for minority groups and hyper favors the majority/those in power. In the U.S. all folks...even with a little black blood claim black (most not all)....it's a uniting factor.....hyper...forces everyone to want to be white...and the one's that really are white don't face much opposition because the people being held down identify with their oppressors
