Love the pics, Max. :D They remind me of a place I used to go to hide from my family when I was a teenager. I loved being out there & spent hours walking, thinking and enjoying the scenery. It was so peaceful & beautiful.

Sadly the folks who owned it sold it to someone who cut everything down & cleared the land to build houses. :(

Ok CD I think I have the goose, swan and duck straight. I do not remember ever seeing a swan in person. Good lesson for the city people here. ;)

Very cool pics max. That last tree shot is amazing. .

I know what you mean Tam. Same with where my grandma lives. The people who bought the land behind her home did so because they wanted too add it to the golf course near by. I mean all those trees being cut down is just wrong. I grew up hiking through those woods. Its a shame.:(

    Weee! :smt003

Beautiful! My faves ^^^ because they remind me when I worked with my sister at The Hippocrates Health Centre in Queensland (Australia) and we'd get away on our days off by going to the springs and hiking the trails to swim in the rock pools and sunbake. Was so relaxing. Thanks for the nostalgia trip! :smt050

*LMAO @ Costanzas' clip. Seinfeld = Awesomeness!

ps: Jordan, I realized looking back now that my Bird reply post may have appeared I was trying to mess with you (@ your fears), but it really did happen and I had just logged on and there was your post and I was still traumatized and had to blurt it out. Sorry if it bothered you and I can delete it. :smt058

No the only thing that will bother me would be if you called and asked me to come get that bird from your cat. Not happening.

I don't bird sit either. If you have a parrot ...parakeet or any bird, do not call me. Not happening.

Yeah, a shame is exactly what it is. I wish I still had a place like that to go. I also remember when I was a kid visiting my uncle's house & running around in the woods at the back of his property. My cousins & I used to climb trees, build hideouts, & swim in a big pond out there...I couldn't swim so I wore one of my cousin's life jacket so I could play in the water too, lol. So many great memories. We always had an awesome time, but it's all gone now too.

LMAO That sounds like me. Climbing trees, finding the perfect tree to build some sort of treehouse. And yeah I couldn't swim for shit either. Kind of felt left out at times being the only one who couldn't swim.lol But yeah all we have is memories now to hold on too, since what you remember is gone and mine will soon be gone.:-|
