When I said Neo's I was talking about black people and not just black men.

Everyone here already knows about it, just like we all know about your uterus. We'd rather not here any more about either from you.

As far the complex that said BM have, I was talking about the women they idolized which are light skin women, and to a lesser degree white women. I don't see this same degree of colorism in BW. They don't have an issue with dating darker skinned black men. How many times have you heard the phrase "he is good looking to be dark skin" come out of a black woman's mouth? Ask the average BW what her ideal man would look like and she would probably say Tall, DARK, and Handsome. Ask the average BM what his ideal woman would look like and he would say light skin girl, with "pretty hair", and a phat @$$.

The reason that BW want to be lighter(bleaching creams) is because that is what their men desire. Why do white women dye their hair blond and get breast implants? Well because white men like blond hair and big boobs. But black men didn't desire light skin women until white imperialism and slavery. The biracial people were treated better than the field negro. This is where the idolization with light skin women probably started with black men.

I think the clearest behavior to indicate a race obsession would be trolling interracial message boards in drag.

Well Chicity I wasn't sure if everyone heard about the group. I haven't been on the site long and wasn't sure if it was ever discussed. But I don't have a uterus. I am an man. I guess I can't be mad at you for thinking I'm a woman, because when I first joined the site I thought you were a man honestly.

Another sad Black woman with issues for days, she had to bump this even though the convo was over for weeks.

Well I don't agree with any of them except probably the first one. Its hard to find work for a recent college graduate in this economic climate.

What do I have to say or do to convince ya'll that I'm not some black women with issues? I wasn't trying to bump this thread to be facetious but I just wanted to comment on the topic.

Yeah because you rarely hear about black women wanting a light eyed baby with "good hair"

    Hit the bricks!!!

First off, I get the brown paper bag reference, GZ graciously explained that one to me a while back. But thank you for the attempt to educate me, a mind is a terrible thing to waste after all.

Second, and don't take this the wrong way, but if you're gonna throw out a bunch of quasi-useless generalized statements, please at least attempt to stick to your frickin' point! I find it intriguing that it seems to be a common theme with trolls or people who come here with negative agendas, that they cannot stick to their point. They'll throw something out there and then when it's dissected, disproven, or blasted, they toss out something completely irrelevant. So either they seek to distract from the obvious BS they previously tried to pass off, or they've lost their script and have to wing it, or they just can't manage to keep all the crap straight in their mind. It's like their focus is so wide anything can get thrown in. It's the equivalent to using a shotgun when they should be using a sniper rifle... and a laser sight would be beneficial for most of them as well.

That's not a comment on whether I think you're a troll or not, just a generalized observation of my own, since that seems to be the theme.

My point is that whether famous BM date WW or BW wasn't the question, you stated that BM only date WW after they get famous or wealthy, that's the BS generalization that I commented on. See the bolded portion of your original post below for reference if needed:

Did it ever occur to you that perhaps they were equally attracted to and dated WW before they were famous? Obviously after they become well known, they get a lot of press and it becomes more obvious to the public at large, but that doesn't mean they didn't date WW before, it just means no one was taking their picture and so you weren't aware of it. WW aren't some commodity or scarce resource that are available only to BM who make over a million a year, or who have fame. WW who date BM are everywhere, open your eyes, venture outside the house and take a look around. I see IR everywhere I go, and every single time I go out. None of the BM I see are famous and though I don't know what their net worth is, I'm reasonably sure the majority of them are not millionaires.

Andrae I hear that all the time and truthfully I can't stand it when I hear it coming from their mouths either. I put my people on blast all the time when they say shit like that because I don't think they realize that they are self-hating. You can add the color contacts and weave wearing to the topic also. I'm not going to sit here and bash BW because of the actions of some BW. At the same time I'm won't just sit there and let a BW bash BM. I think black people on a whole are messed up mentally. I think it was ChiCity that said in another thread that white people(specifically white men) has caused all these issues between BM and BW in the past and those issues were pasted down and still effects our community today.

ESPY let me try to clear things up I don't think that most famous black men date only WW. I think when black men become successful they do date WW at a much higher rate than the average black man but I still wouldn't say most. When you add the famous black men who only seem date WW and the men that seem to only date other races of women I would imagine that number is close to most. Which is what I said it or at least what I was trying to get across.

I think the other half of famous black men prefer to date light skin/Biracial women. You know the Lauren London's and Halle Berry's of the world. I think that is a problem that starts well before black men become famous. When I'm hanging with my black guy friends and we get to talking about girls as always do, the vast majority of my friends always talk about light skin or Spanish women. And its not just my friends it is black men across the board. I can see if only the light skin black guys only liked the light skin and Spanish girls because you I think I've read studies that say people are most attracted to people that resemble them. But when light, brown, and dark skin guys only primarily prefers only light skin women I find that to be extremely troubling.

Well I would need to see statics that indicated a high percentage sufficient to be considered 'most' before I would accept that. However I doubt anyone's compiling statics on what percentage of BM only date WW after becoming wealthy or famous, so we'll just agree to disagree on that one.

As for the bolded part above, I don't see why that would trouble anyone. People are attracted to who they are attracted to, I don't have an issue with people dating whomever they find attractive. It's really no one's business but theirs IMO.

You are not a Black man that likes White women that I'm sure of, most likely you are a Black woman who wants to talk about Black women and so called Black issues. Other Black women already commented in this thread, like you, they always want to set the record straight about a Black woman's perspective. I'm sure there wasn't enough Black women talk on here for you, so you had to bump this.

As I said before, Black trolls never seem to be explicitly against BM/WW, they seem either to want to defend Black women or make sure Black men are tied to issues in the "Black community" as if being with a White woman would some how be counter to that.

On an individual basis I don't think there is anything wrong with a BM who only dates light skin women(black, hispanic, or other mixed race women), but when most black men prefer only light skin women I have a problem with it. Many of the issues in the black community stems from self esteem issues. So black men as a whole only liking light skin women is a self esteem issue. Black women as a whole thinking if they don't have a weave in her head she is not pretty, is a self esteem issue. The list goes on. I think if BM/BW respected each other the same as WM/WW I think my people would be alot better off.

XOXO I have alot of pride for the race that I belong to but I never said that I don't like white women. I'm not a black women. My girlfriend is white. I just recently saw the topic and wanted to comment on it. I wasn't trying to bring attention to it but just wanted to chime in with my .02 cents. I don't think being with a white girl is counter to that. If you go out of your way to distance yourself from anything that involves your own people then I do think that is wrong.

I am not a troll. I just think that some find it hard to believe that I can be a BM with a white girlfriend, that defends BW, and does believe that black men are in fact responsible for at least 50% of the problems in the community.

You just outed yourself in this post. You have a white girlfriend but you're harping on the self esteem issues of others who date like YOU do?
Yeah I call shenanigans. Nice try. Like I said earlier take a long walk off a short pier.
