Already knew Disney had the rights to the majority of the Marvel characters & properties that were owned by by other companies besides Fox & Sony. Didn't know that Sony produced Spectacular Spider-Man , so as far as that goes it more than likely wouldn't be on Disney + any time soon.

Movie and TV rights deals are some funny things. Sony can hold on to the movie rights to Spider-Man literally forever as long as they put out some kind of Spider-Man related movie every few years whether shitty movies or not. Same reason Fox keep churning out X-Men movies & attempted to reboot Fantastic Four prior to the buy out in order to keep the movie rights. That's why a majority of people think Sony will be the big loser when it comes to not continuing the Spider-Man share deal because if their solo Spider-Man movies doesn't match up to the level of MCU movies it's game over.

DC has confirmed Tom King's upcoming departure from the core Batman title - but revealed that his Dark Knight stories will continue in a 12-issue Batman/Catwoman series drawn by Clay Mann that is scheduled to debut in January 2020.

How come these black TV/movie superheroes can't do anything without being surrounded by bitches? Panther, Luke Cage, Black Lightning. Thank God for the Falcon.

Exactly! Falcon is exempt because of his side kick status.

It's really ridiculous with Panther being that he is supposed to be a genius and King. It's like give me a break at least this once smh.

Disagree Falc is just a "sidekick." He's a full-fledged Avenger and he fought Ant-Man solo. Now he's the new Cap. (Talking about the MCU version).

Yeah but him as a solo hero is brand new and honestly in name only I need to see a full fledged film. Him fighting ant man don't count he lost which was by design.
Also I think BP and LC did have solo fight scenes and the women were support characters unlike Black Lightning which is some how about his daughters and not the title character which makes no damn sense but another reason why I trust nothing with a male lead and a woman writing especially a black woman write black male lead. Especially when it's clear none of these people are fans of sci do/comics the dialogue on BL and LC were god awful.
Bottom line we're in a messed up era right now where black men and black women are 100 percent separated in a way no other culture has ever been in fact that shit is a wider rift than between black and white people. They see themselves as black women first women second and only black associated with black men when they can use our bodies resources and tragedies to further themselves. The unfortunate result of black men not being in the home (because of heavily policing and overall white supremacy) creates a bunch of boys and girls who have no problem pushing black boys and men out of the way to prop of black women and girls. BL is a great example of this, the only superhero story in media where the show is barely about the main character and he's middle aged. So he's committed to a wife that won't have him so no sex scenes for the black guy and it's all about him being a dad. Seriously who is this show for?

Simpman. because being an active father is some sort of rare accomplishment. So stay hood level.
    Lightning powers be damned.

They need to take a page from the Miles Morales (even though that last name makes no sense since his dad is AA) an organic coming of age teen story about someone who happens to be black and Hispanic.

Yeah, the Miles Morales last name thing is a bit of a head-scratcher, his dad's last name is Davis. The only thing I can think of for why they named him that was to accentuate that he was Afro-Latin.

But his parents are married and happily at that. They should have named him Juan or Joselito Davis if that's what they were going for. Very tone deaf on their part

I don't even give BP a pass. They watered him down to build up Suri. He's supposed to be smarter than Stark. Instead, they have his sister be the brains while he's just the muscle. BL is a family drama. Period.

They played him like he wasn't even smart enough to be Starks intern.
